Saltfinsax
What ways have you guy's found to stop the inside of overflow box's from growing all the alge or all the other stuff there. That thing is turning into a Alge scubber filter I think. I clean it and its plugging back up in a couple weeks. Would putting something to stop the light over it stop it? nwcoralfarm
Absolutely, it is guaranteed to stop most everything from growing and is surely the recommended way to approach this.
coralreefer
That is my project Thursday...to place some kind of cover over it and I have an old powerhead that I am going to put in the overflow to create circulation and prevent gunk buildup... Rick
I was hoping mine would do like my 85 and break out with a huge population of pods but it's doing the same think. Probably end up covering it as well. I do have more pods inside the tank itself than before so probably not huge thing.
