siskiou
Can anyone help me put a name to the following corals (sorry for the bad quality! It's the best I could do!) On the last two pics I'm wondering about the little orangy red frag, and the one on the last pic I don't know if it's a cali tort or an oregon tort. stylaster
first one look like a monti, pics is pretty blurry, second is an acropora, and the little orange frag is montipora setosa and cali tort
siskiou
Thanks! Any guess what kind of monti? All these are really small, and hard to get a good pic of! I hope they all thrive!
stylaster
hard to tell can you get a clearer pic of it?
snowpunk
First could be a sunset or a pokerstar maybe? the pic is really to blurry to tell anything. The last one could be a rainbow or a superman. They need some good color up before you'll really be able to tell for sure. The setosa is small but looks nice. siskiou
hard to tell can you get a clearer pic of it? I tried several times, but it's too small, and when I zoom in, it always comes out shaky.
siskiou
First could be a sunset or a pokerstar maybe? The setosa is small but looks nice. The first one has a reddish-brown base and almost metallic yellow-green polyps. It's only thumbnail size, so I'm not sure if some of the polyps will change color later or not. And I'm sure glad to know the little orange one is a setosa, though it's so tiny, I'm a bit worried about it! And man, has the weather just turned nasty, here! The rain is coming down like there is no tomorrow!

It is an encrusting monti, i have heard i called cloverfield monti or morning star monti
siskiou
Sounds intriguing! Do you have a good pic of yours? I googled the name and got all sorts of different ones (purple polyps for example).
