I have a tubing bender (not a pipe bender) for 7/8" heavy wall T304 stainless steel tubing. (The stuff used for marine boat tops) I may have enough of the tubing as well. If so I can sell 2 of them to you for about $40 and I'll put the bend wherever you want. If I don't have enough here then I will need to check the current price on the tubing first to see what it would cost. (I'm guessing about $25 each tube) Let me know if your interested. You can swing by and take a closer look at mine if you want as well since it's the same thing I used.

Okay, I do have enough here to make 2 but one of the pieces I have to replace if I use it. I checked the current prices and I can sell it for $28 each as long as they are 8' or less. Call it $45 since one needs to be replaced with another piece. I can supply the nice SS eye ends for them as well for $6 each. (These are the same ones that West Marine sells for $19.99: West Marine: External Eye Ends) I have everything here already.

You could easily get by with just one. (One would hold 3 or 4 of those lights) The only trick will be getting the light to stay positioned square above the tank but a few nylon ties should take care of that. The SS Eye Ends are stainless steel (SS) eye ends that would go over the end of the tubing to give it a nice finished look with an attachment point. Then you would use cable or chains that hook into the eye end. If you just want one it would be $20 since I have one extra piece of tubing here already and then another $6 if you want one of the stainless eye ends. BTW, this is polished stainless steel tubing like you might see on hand rails for a nice yacht. (Not sure if you looked at mine last time you were over or not)

I think you just found a new source of income

You read my mind... Sort of. I'm constantly looking for opportunities to turn something into a profitable venture, especially if I can combine it with a hobby I enjoy. I wouldn't mind selling a bunch of these if I can get the price up to a point that is profitable. (I already have the equipment and a couple of sources for the tubing and fittings) At the price I listed I pretty much break even though once I add the cost of gas to go pick the tubing up. (The goal with current prices would be $45 - $50 each for a decent profit) I figure if I can get a few out there though at cost then it may turn into a little extra cash down the road.
