so i was just acclimating my corals that i bought today an hour ago and im letting the thing drip you know and i come back in to check on it and its dripped like 5g of my tank water onto the floor. I was like oh $hit! DOH!

so i made 5g of fresh water but didnt have any salt to add to prevent a salinity drop..i will check my salinity in the morning but i hope it didnt drop too fast to affect my sps

it always happens at the worst time..late at night or before you gotta go somewhere lol (threaten)

i added the 5g of freshwater and i'll see what the salinity is in the morning..its like 1.023 right now where i think it was like 1.026 but maybe it will be higher in the morning..more mixing or something..sometimes ive noticed that were the salinity is lower at night..

Sure, I could still use a little in the display. I was going to put another 50 lbs in it but it ended up in my brothers tank.
