  1. I would love this guy for my classroom tank if you still have it
  2. Had an unfortunate accident on our classroom tank at Tualatin High a few weeks ago.... some water got on the Reef Keeper RKM SL-1 module (temperature and pH). Would anyone happen to have an unused module they would be willing to donate or any other Reef Keeper equipment? Anything would be super helpful!
  3. I teach biology at Tualatin high and have a student who wanted to try breeding clownfish this coming year. I have a few tanks already but would definitely be interested
  4. I have a huge 1.5-2 foot snowflake in my classroom tank. It is suppppper popular with students and really cool to watch. Shockingly, it hasn't touched the chromis I had in the tank before it arrived over a year ago, figured they would be goners pretty quickly. It has been a great addition to the tank but definitely do get a top.
  5. Posting this for Kelly Perry, marine biology teacher at Tualatin High; check out her Donors Choose project for a Predator Tank. If interested in helping out, code SNOWFLAKE will double any donation. http://www.donorschoose.org/project/blowing-up-for-fish-friends/1775809/?rf=link-siteshare-2015-12-teacher-teacher_1038151&challengeid=189620

  10. I wanted to give a huge thanks and shout out to Jeff at Cuttle Fish! To many of you, this will come as no surprise, but Jeff is one the nicest and most generous individuals and business owners I have ever met. I came into his shop a few weeks ago to investigate drilling a new tank for my high school biology classroom. Jeff did one about a million times better and offered to donate a 105 DSA tank, stand and canopy. He even delivered the tank and help hoof it into my classroom, it was a heavy beast. I couldn't be more impressed, thankful, and ecstatic to get the tank going! I'm going to get the tank up and running over the next few weeks and will post more pictures of its progress. Link to tank picture If you have not yet visited Cuttle Fish & Corals, please do so as you won't find a better shop and nicer owner. If you have been to Cuttle Fish before, please continue to support such an outstanding local business.
  11. is the sump still available? if so, what are the dimensions?
  12. Thanks Emerald for the offer! Turns out we have until Sunday morning. Anyone able to help out with a truck?
