Zoolander
I dip all my corals but stranger things have happened. My SPS are starting to die one by one with bleaching occurring slowly and almost blotchy. The birdsnests have been the first to go and the coralline has been disappearing as well. Parameters are not too far off in the tank. I noticed a large amount of coralline disappeared from a rock tonight and when I looked I found these guys all over it. They move like ants, quickly and erratically. I'm wondering if anybody can tell me what they are and if they are the cause of things dying off. This rock was covered in purple coralline about two weeks ago. Edited December 7, 2016 by Zoolander
Paratore
Can't really tell from the pic but if they are little clearish bugs then those are your pods. Any alk or temperature swings in the last few weeks? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Emerald525
High magnesium will also kill corraline too just like it does bryopsis. I can't tell from the picture what you have but pods is a good thought. The pattern of death is concerning though. Usually with pests though I seem to notice recession of the base of the sps first. youcallmenny
If you have urchins, they can strip staggering amounts of coralline overnight. Sorry to hear about your problems, I hope you get it figured out.
