The new tank build

I thought I would share a picture of my new tank that I have been piecing together for some time. The tank is 48x36x20 and the stand I built. I have a couple more things on the stand to do and then I can start the pluming so hopefully in about two weeks it will have water in it.

Thanks Guys.....

For the equipment I have so far is....

two vortech MP40w

Eheim 1262 pump for the return ( I will be going with a Ecotech marine vectra L1 dc pump in the near future )

two 3/4" Macro Auqa flow swings ( the return pump will be plumped to them)

for the skimmer I will be getting a Augamaxx Q3 cones skimmer

One big calcium reactor

my sump is 44x20x15 with a refugium.

I have a couple of reefstar 24" fixtures I will be using for now until I build my hybrid 8 buld t5/led fixture.

Everything will be controlled  by a Apex.

I will post more as I get everything together.

Looks good so far.

What are the plans for the hybrid?

Thanks Scott.

I was planning a 8 bulb t5 setup that will be completely dimmable with 3 multi chip LEDs just to give a little extra options on color and to give me the shimmer. I am just figuring out what Watt and brand of led to go with.
