  2. 93 gaL cube+everything $1200

Hi All, I'm looking to sell my whole system and everything that comes with it. I'm listing it with a super low ball price in hopes that someone will come and snatch it up hassle free. The only thing I am willing to part out at this moment is my Marine Beta. He's a special guy and I would like to find him a good home. I've had him for a minimum of three years. He eats out of your hand and is often out during the day, even though they are nocturnal. He's a very social fish, which is abnormal for them, and often comes to the glass when someone approaches the tank. He's extremely beautiful and likely 4-5" long. The blue and yellow coloring is very vibrant. He has cohabitated with shrimp and crabs before. Although, I think he eventually ate them. It's hard to tell. I'm asking $80 for him. What comes with the system. Tank: 93 gaL starfire cube with overflow and no scratches. Dimensions are LxWxH=30x30x25 inches (not exactly a cube but close enough). The tank was made is 2013 and is in exceptional shape. The stand is 29.5 inches tall with two openings and a carbon fiber looking skin over the frame. Will come with all the featured coral and fish. Listed in full below. Circulation for the tank used an Ecotech mp 40 wQd with wireless quietdrive driver purchased 2/25/2015. I clean the propeller once a month in vinegar. System is very well cared for. Sump/Refugium+ Skimmer: underneath there is an Eshopps R-200 sump. This sump is exceptionally quiet. You can barely hear water flowing through it. There is are fittings built in for an automatic top off. Here is a link to the sumps specifications: http://www.eshopps.com/products/filters/refugium/r200/ Ones of the compartments houses the Reef Octopus Classic 152-s purchased 11/1/2015 from marine depot. https://www.marinedepot.com/Reef_Octopus_Classic_152_S_Protein_Skimmer_In_Sump_Protein_Skimmers_for_Aquariums_Reefs-Reef_Octopus-CV25195-FIPSIS-vi.html Comes with titanium Finex 300W heater with guard and Finex temperature controller purchased august 2016 (comes with a backup brand new finext titanium heater) Lighting: Radion Gen2 it's a xr30w with wide angle lenses (I may still have the box that this came in). I still have the regular lenses that came with it. Comes with one power supply to operate it and comes with an extra power supply. Serviced and repaired by Ecotech after a failure, hence having two. The lead time was too long for the repair so I purchased another PS. Comes with a custom hanging rod that has been bent and attaches to the backside of the tank frame. Pretty classy. Fish+Critters: Sand sifting starfish (probably two in there. It's hard to tell) Conch Mating black & orange oscellaris Bonded blue spotted watchman goby and pistol shrimp Pacific Blue Tang (has some facial scarring) 3-4" Large Marine Beta 4-5" (optional, read description above) Coral+Things: 3 large bubble tip anemones. The two larger ones are around 10" in diameter during the day. The smaller of the 3 is 6-7". Deep acro colony, split up after the coral fell off the rock 2 frogspawn colonies. One the size of a pommelo 6" diameter the other is a cluster 2 large detached heads of frogspawn Another smaller colony probably 3" diameter Another small colony probably 1.5-2" diameter Orange montipora colony Purple and neone yellow green acro Deep purple something acro, struggling Blastomussa colony pink & light blue Large devils hand mushroom Random small acro-pink color Purple gorgonias in 3-4 locations Multi colored-purple, light plue, and some pink when in full color favia coral 2.5" long probably 0.5-0.75 wide Pink and baby blue favia 3" diametere. half of the colony is present. It was recently stung and is in recovery large light blue green lobophyllia with minimum 5 heads 2 heads of colored lobophyllia--vibrant version of colored lobophyllia here https://secure.liveaquaria.com/product/437/brain-coral-lobophyllia?pcatid=437&c=597+321+437 there are mushroom corals all over the place. The rock work has hydrophorna on it and will require some cleanup if you want to eradicate it struggling red and green man of war colony (I believe that's the name), almost dead Extras: -I believe I have all of the boxes for the more expensive equipment Any remaining salt I have 4-5 filter socks 2 refractometers wifi to hard connector used for a controller Hammerhead magnetic cleaner (probably) an extra pump Chemical test kit putty for attaching corals phosban charcoal addictives nitrate reducer calcium finex 300w titanium heater backup pump for the system, it's brand new and in the box seaside aquarics 8" aquarium viewer I have a whole chest of stuff and part of a cupboard of items that I will throw in

  5. This is the 7 gallon glass sump that is coming with my Aquatop RC24G system. Is there a way to add a chaeto refugium here? What about pods? Here is the view of it in the stand for perspective. I was thinking I might be able to insert some time of mesh box, if the first chamber? I would welcome any input.
  6. Feedback on 10g sump

I'm interested in setting up a 10g sump under my 29g tank and need some last minute feedback. My main goal since space is so limited is to have a refugium and a filter sock. I doubt I'll have a skimmer as I aim to have a small bioload. How does this look?
  7. Large sump

Hello, I am looking for a large sump for 200+ gallons system. Regards,
  8. Monster BIG Frag tank

Just took this big boy off my coldwater system and would love the garage space back. It's a 14' x 3' x 18" fiberglass system with baffles at both ends and a 2" bulkhead for drain. Just lay a couple 4' sheets of egg crate in it and light her up! Shoot me a pm with your # and I can text you pics of it. Post her that you pm'd me. $200 and I'll help you load it if you have the means to haul it.
  9. Hey everyone! I haven't posted on here since the site crash and the ensuing events. I am in the middle of an upgrade from a standard 90 gallon to a Red Sea Reefer 450 (thank you Jeff @Cuttle Fish and Corals). I met Holly @GilandFin when I went to pick it up, and she convinced me to do a build thread, which I will begin soon. Just not enough hours in the day lately. I have purchased all new equipment for this build so I need to clear some things out before I am suddenly single. Everything is around a year old and still works as new. All equipment has been vinegar soaked and cleaned except the tank. It will need a rinse and a good coralline scraping. The stand is a DIY and needs a minimal wipe down of salt creep. I honestly don't have a ton of time or energy to take pics of everything, but if there is something you want a pic of, let me know and I will try to accommodate the request. Keep in mind, all equipment has been cleaned so you will be getting a picture that looks like one would expect. Here is the list so far, and more will be added as I go: Two wp25s with dual controller: $75 - also comes with an extra you can use for parts like the cage, impeller, o-ring, etc. Jebao dc-6000 return with controller: $65 Ocean Revive Arctic T247 (2): $80 each JBJ ATO w/ two aqualifters for parts, as both need new diaphragms: $25 (this was bought from a member here last year and never used, so I cannot speak to the functionality of the JBJ, only what I was told). 90 gallon standard reef ready Marineland with DIY stand and 29 gallon DIY sump w/ acrylic baffles: $150 - $100 if you pick it up today, as the goodwill resulting from getting it out at home is well worth $50 to me . There are a couple of scratches on the front glass but cannot be seen when filled (at least by me). The tank is old school and HEAVY so you will need a couple of guys to move it. I will do my best to help. Here is a link to the PNWMAS thread of my original build for pics: http://www.pnwmas.org/topic/32384-90-gallon-build-pic-heavy/ BRS 48" screen frame kit w/ what should be enough 1/4" netting to complete the project: $25 Two Oddysea 4x 48" T5 fixtures with Oddysea bulbs, one with a brand new Icecap 660 ballast and original ballasts: $120 for both (the icecap is worth more than this alone). This was a failed attempt to overdrive T5s, but were never used because I couldn't get the fans to run off the icecap. But I am not an electrician, and I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than I can get it going just fine. Eight unused 48" ATI T5 bulbs, I believe two of each - Coral+, Blue+, Purple+, and Actinic+: $15 each or $100 for all. I also have an SCA 303 Skimmer that is currently being used in my 50g stock tank that I will be selling soon as well. The skimmer is about a year old, but I replaced the Atman pump in August due to a hermit somehow getting lodged in the impeller and frying the original pump. I still have the original boxes for most things for sale due to my hoarding problem. Sorry about the wordiness... I write Corporate documents for a living and its kind of hard to turn it off PM with any questions or to get my phone number for texting purposes (I hate talking on the phone).

  11. Hey everyone, Just tore down my tank and have lots and lots of equipment for sale. Most prices are generously low, and I will be more than happy to (privately) make deals for multiple items. I can accept, cash, PayPal, and credit cards (via PayPal). Located in Albany, OR in an easy to reach location. I can be contacted via phone/text at 503-860-725(zero) - although that is also my business phone number so I might answer with the name of my business (I prefer texts during business hours). I can also be reached via PM through the PNWMAS forum, or email at beardedsmurf@comcast(dot)net. All items will be first-come, first served, and held for up to three days after being "claimed" or other arrangements are made. Communication is key. Most of these items can be shipped to you and arrive within 1-2 days in Oregon/WA for between $3-10 depending on size/weight. Will not ship tanks, sump, or frozen fish food. Pick-up or meet only on these items. Can meet anywhere in the Albany/Corvallis area to drop off anything over $25 total. For $150 or more, I will go to Salem or Eugene. Will meet in the Portland area for $300 or more (although shipping is probably just as fast and equally expensive for most items). Meetings will be at a local fish store or mall/public place. All payments for out of town meet-ups must be in advance prior to leaving for the meeting to ensure there are not any no-shows. I will be available most any day/any time between 8am and 9pm. I can text/email photos of anything on this list. Questions welcome. For a reference, Badxgillen has seen my setup and equipment and can vouch for it's quality and that it has been taken care of. Here's what's for sale: (I have saved the list of goods as images hosted remotely that I can update as items are purchased.)
  12. Hello! I'm about to move into a new house and really need some help finding a solid Aquarium Expert to help with the move and building of a new custom sump solution in the house. Some of the needs are: * Moving and Transport of my 210 Gallon Glass Reef and all the critters * Building of new cabinet structure at the new house that matches existing kitchen cabinetry (I have the cabinet maker info) * Planning and building of new sump structure -- I want to tie into the drain system through the house's plumbing -- I want to have the sump system in the garage to cut out noise -- I want to install an RODI cistern in the garage and tie into sump for Auto-Top Off -- Ideally, I want to have a second cistern in the garage that holds mixed saltwater to make water changes a breeze I've talked to a couple of folks, but they've all gone MIA now that it's time to actually start making this happen. Help! -BJ Hatcher bjhatcher80@gmail.com
