    Introduction

Hello Everybody! I just went to the last meeting, but just in case I didn't get to meet you I just wanted to properly introduce myself! So I am currently a student at OSU, and I found out that both my tutor Miles Taylor, and I are both into the aquarium hobby. So he told me about PNWMAS, and that there was a meeting coming up, so I was more than happy to come. It was great to meet a lot of you. So I do have a few tanks here in my dorm and back home. Right now I have a 14 gallon nano cube, a 5 gallon goldfish tank, and a 3 gallon mangrove tank. But back home in California I have a 120 gallon fish only saltwater system, a 28 gallon nano cube, a 55 gallon freshwater, and a pond. If you want to see the stuff I've kept over the years I have a youtube channel and instagram with the same user name, "aquariumaster" . I'll also attach some videos and pictures here. But ya, I'm just really happy to be a part of this and I look forward to going to the upcoming meetings! Here is my 120 gallon: and heres my old bamboo shark ( she now actually lives at SeaWorld San Diego!):

    FREE Aquarium and equipment TODAY

Hey gang, I have moved to CA and I am back in town (Vancouver WA) today. I MUST get rid of my 4 foot x 21 x 17 tall acrylic aquarium (TODAY). I have a few thing to go with it like a protein skimmer, etc. I don't have time to list everything. Pleas call before you head out to check it out. I wouldn't want it gone before you got here. The acrylic is 5/8 thick (bullet proof...lol) even the bottom is same thickness. It is VERY heavy and you must load it your self. It is connected to a sold 4x4 wood stand that was sealed and it great shape. Picture was when tank was new 2 years ago
  9. 90 Gallon custom made Envision Acrylics cube tank. For those that don't know, Envision makes about the best acrylic tanks money can buy. Mine has a black back and bottom (I went barebottom), and a full-width overflow set up for a bean-animal style overflow with dual returns. I am including a custom built stand, all furniture grade maple, stained black. Have a matching canopy as well. All bulkheads, valves and unions needed for the overflow are included as well, with enough extra plumbing that you can just connect it and go. Everything is in very good condition. I took care to never scratch the tank and you will find that its almost entirely scratch free. Pretty much like new condition. Asking $700 for the full setup. The tank alone cost more than that and the stand/canopy was about $400.
  10. I have a larger live rock, about 9-10 inches with lots of green button polyps growing on it I'd like to trade for something else. I'm having trouble posting pictures but I can email or text them 971-470-4424 located in forest grove

    Fishtank Stand

Looking for a stand for a 40 gal breeder that looks like this so it will match my 180 gal. Must be black let me know what you have and your price please. My other option is to build one but I don't wanna put all the time into it if I can buy one for a little cheaper. http://www.fishtankstands.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/31LZ7zOAToL.jpg
  12. Dual 400 Watt Metal Halide Ballast w/cords Pictures: http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/pet/5456836299.html Ballast is in good used condition with a few paint chips/scratches. It does power on. Makes a slight humming/buzzing sound when on. I believe this is normal for most MH Ballasts. It has a date of Nov. 05 on back label. I assume this is the manufacture date. I bought this new but can't recall the date of purchase. It has been kept in dry storage for several years. Ballast was used in aquarium application. The cords are in ok shape - could use a little cleaning on the prong plugs. There is two (2) 400 watt XM bulbs. Not sure the age of the bulbs. Even though the bulbs light up, they probably should be replaced to get true spectrum and intensity. Manufacture: Sunlight Supply Inc. Vancouver, WA USA BW 2 Dual MH-400 Plus Start 120V 8A 800Watt 60Hz This ballast operates 2 metal halide mogul base lamps (400watt type M 135) $45.00 OBO (cash only) Sold As Is. No returns or trades. Item Location: Welches, Oregon 97067 - No shipping! Serious inquiries only, please.

  15. Hey everyone! I haven't posted on here since the site crash and the ensuing events. I am in the middle of an upgrade from a standard 90 gallon to a Red Sea Reefer 450 (thank you Jeff @Cuttle Fish and Corals). I met Holly @GilandFin when I went to pick it up, and she convinced me to do a build thread, which I will begin soon. Just not enough hours in the day lately. I have purchased all new equipment for this build so I need to clear some things out before I am suddenly single. Everything is around a year old and still works as new. All equipment has been vinegar soaked and cleaned except the tank. It will need a rinse and a good coralline scraping. The stand is a DIY and needs a minimal wipe down of salt creep. I honestly don't have a ton of time or energy to take pics of everything, but if there is something you want a pic of, let me know and I will try to accommodate the request. Keep in mind, all equipment has been cleaned so you will be getting a picture that looks like one would expect. Here is the list so far, and more will be added as I go: Two wp25s with dual controller: $75 - also comes with an extra you can use for parts like the cage, impeller, o-ring, etc. Jebao dc-6000 return with controller: $65 Ocean Revive Arctic T247 (2): $80 each JBJ ATO w/ two aqualifters for parts, as both need new diaphragms: $25 (this was bought from a member here last year and never used, so I cannot speak to the functionality of the JBJ, only what I was told). 90 gallon standard reef ready Marineland with DIY stand and 29 gallon DIY sump w/ acrylic baffles: $150 - $100 if you pick it up today, as the goodwill resulting from getting it out at home is well worth $50 to me . There are a couple of scratches on the front glass but cannot be seen when filled (at least by me). The tank is old school and HEAVY so you will need a couple of guys to move it. I will do my best to help. Here is a link to the PNWMAS thread of my original build for pics: http://www.pnwmas.org/topic/32384-90-gallon-build-pic-heavy/ BRS 48" screen frame kit w/ what should be enough 1/4" netting to complete the project: $25 Two Oddysea 4x 48" T5 fixtures with Oddysea bulbs, one with a brand new Icecap 660 ballast and original ballasts: $120 for both (the icecap is worth more than this alone). This was a failed attempt to overdrive T5s, but were never used because I couldn't get the fans to run off the icecap. But I am not an electrician, and I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than I can get it going just fine. Eight unused 48" ATI T5 bulbs, I believe two of each - Coral+, Blue+, Purple+, and Actinic+: $15 each or $100 for all. I also have an SCA 303 Skimmer that is currently being used in my 50g stock tank that I will be selling soon as well. The skimmer is about a year old, but I replaced the Atman pump in August due to a hermit somehow getting lodged in the impeller and frying the original pump. I still have the original boxes for most things for sale due to my hoarding problem. Sorry about the wordiness... I write Corporate documents for a living and its kind of hard to turn it off PM with any questions or to get my phone number for texting purposes (I hate talking on the phone).

    Aquarium Chiller - 1HP

C-1000 1HP Pacific Coast Aquarium Chiller - $375 OBO Unfortunately, I'm having issues loading pics. Hope to have some available to view soon. Sorry. I bought this chiller brand new and only used for one summer. In the Fall, I sold the aquarium and kept some of the equipment including the chiller. The chiller has never been left outside in the rain and has always been kept in dry storage. Currently, it is being stored at my folks place in a spare bedroom. The chiller does have few minor scratches and is a little rusty in some spots. The rust is from water splash when it was in operation. Saltwater can be pretty harsh especially around metal. I was able to remove some of the rust in the vents with a rag without too much effort. If someone wanted to get it really clean, a toothbrush would work probably better. The chiller does turn on when plugged into a wall socket. Because there was no water running through it, I only had it plugged in for a split second to see if it powered up. There was a remote that came with the chiller, but unfortunately I can't seem to find it. This unit sells new from the manufacture for: $1,215.99 I'm selling mine for: 375.00 OBO Sold As Is. No return. Serious inquiries only, please... My parents place is approx. 20 miles from my home. I'm in Sandy,Oregon 97055 The information below is from Pacific Coast website. 20. Custom 310 Gallon Saltwater Mixed Reef Aquarium setup. Live and Running. Moving and can’t take the tank. Our loss is your gain! Professionally built custom tank and stand. All very high quality grade construction. Top quality components. This tank is stunning to look at and gets a lot of compliments. This tank is currently up and running now and was built brand new and setup 2 years ago. It is a fully functional Mixed reef with Live rock, Live sand, Live hard and soft coral, Live fish and Invertebrates. Nearly all tank mates have been living together parasite free for at least 2 years in this tank. Some a few years before that in different tanks. The tank is fairly automated so minimal maintenance is required. No Leaks or cracks in the tank. I have put a lot of hard work and energy into this tank to get it to where it is today. This truly is a work of art and a beautiful hobby. Looking to rehome all coral livestock first, then Fish and inverts. Then Tank breakdown can occur. I would prefer to sell it as a full package to the right buyer. I will not consider low ball offers, I’ve already cut everything by at least 50% and I can store this tank setup if needed. May consider some partial trade credit towards a small cube setup or biocube. Please Email me your information and exactly what you are interested in.
