  1. I'm also in BG, am interested in your RODI system. Can you please text me at 360-601-0614 if still available, thank you.
  2. Setup located, Moderators, please close
  3. Thank you for the video, very informative! This tank is in an office building, so I cannot vent the skimmer to the outside or increase airflow. However, I am wondering if part of the problem is inadequate oxygen. I am running a tiny skimmer in the AIO sump on the back of this thing and no air stones other than that. It's an older Oceanic Biocube so it has a closed lid and even though there are fans for the light, they are enclosed in a smaller canopy within the canopy. I have not been running an air stone in my pre-mixed saltwater supply and so I'm wondering if a low oxygen flow might be contributing to this.
  4. Spontaneously lost two Banded Trochus snails over the past 48 hours. They just dropped off the rocks and never got back up. Once the hermits started working on them I realized they had crossed the reef rainbow bridge. Temp is a steady 77 F, Salinity is 1.025, Nitrates are a bit high, trace phosphate, alkalinity is between 80 and 120. My PH is too low at around 7. My guess is that the alkalinity and PH are working with/against each other here, but not sure. I'm doing weekly, small water changes of 1 gallon each week--this is a 14 gallon tank. Zoas and Zenia seem fine, Ricordia aren't so good. Galaxea is doing very well. Any thoughts from anyone on what I might be doing incorrectly, based on the above? Is there a quick way to stabilize PH (aside from adding bicarb)? Is the best thing a partial water change in this case? Thanks for the input.
  5. R-3, I see the IM Magnafuge light, do you have lighting for the aquarium in general? Also, can you tell me more about the glass on this--I know that this tank had a bit of a reputation for being easily scratched--I would expect some of that but need to know if there are any larger, noticeable scratches on the tank. The one I'm trying to upgrade has many scratches which is one of the reasons I want to get something different. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
  6. Looking to size up a bit from an old Oceanic Biocube 14 gallon. Considering the new Coralife Biocube 32 LED but thought I'd check here first. Anyone out there looking to get rid of a nano setup? Interested in Waterbox, RedSea Nano Max, etc.
  7. Hello, just checking to see if you still have the Waterbox 28? I can't figure out how to use the PM feature, so hoping this gets through.

MrBret-so sorry I wasn't able to get back to you last night, we had an emergency come up and I wasn't able to get freed up until much later in the evening and I didn't want to bother you that late. I don't know that a frag tank is the way I want to go on this--the tank I'm upgrading is in our lobby and I need to have something that is easily viewed and higher up so that people aren't having to stoop down to get a good view. Do you by chance have anything that's more towards a cube shape in the 20 - 30 gallon range by chance? Thanks for taking time to reply to these.

I do not.....we left the shop early last night and i left my roll out table in front of our shop and some people managed to walk away with 2 aquariums. I do have a used Red Sea Reefer 250 here for 450, but would need a light fixture and return pump.

Very sorry to hear that! That is an awesome deal on the Red Sea, I love those tanks. I need something much smaller though for our office space. Please keep me in mind if something comes up, thanks again for taking time to talk with me.

  8. Really cool view. Walla Walla area goes back a ways for my own family and I have a drone that I'm trying to learn how use (a DJI Spark that was a gift). Thanks for sharing this with us.
  9. Is anyone running Aqamai KPS wavemakers? We recently had brief power outage and I am no longer able to make changes to the programming on the powerhead with my iphone. I have tried to reset it, uninstall/reinstall the app, create a new wave set, etc but nothing works. I can still see the wireless network for the device in my available networks, but it will not upload any changes. Any advice from anyone out there with more experience with this one?
  10. Those are very nice, Vaertox! I'm considering a rainbow tip from another earlier response (waiting on a pic to decide). If that doesn't work out, I'll be in touch with you. Thank you for replying to my post.
  11. Thank you for your reply, are you able to take some pics of it?
  12. I'm looking for a nice medium to large anenome for a pair of Ocellaris Clowns in a new nano set up in the Battle Ground/Vancouver area.
