  1. Located near Seatac airport. I'm breaking down my Waterbox tank which will be for sale soon, but first I need to get rid of my livestock. The following inverts and coral are what remain: - Warpaint Scoly, 2in $200 - Maxima Clam, teal/blue, 2in $75 - Dragon Soul Favia, 12 mouths $75 - Upscaling Microlados Acropora, 1in $25 - Sand Sifting Sea Star $10 OR TAKE ALL CORAL/INVERTS FOR $340 ROCK/SAND: - Hatian live rock, 60lbs $200 (only about half of this is in the tank, the other half is in the blue tub next to the tank) - Arag-Alive Reef Sand, 80 lbs $50 (one bag is unopened)
  2. You're probably right, ReefBox. I have reached out to a couple LFSs to see what they say.
  3. Thanks guys, but I'm not interested in selling the tank or finding another job (which I'll admit made me chuckle). Just looking for recommendations on a professional maintenance service if anyone has used one. I will have an autofeeder setup so I think someone coming by 2-3 times a week is within the realm of being reasonable and not overly expensive. Appreciate the offer, milesmiles902. If it comes to that I'll be in touch.
  4. So after 12 years out of the hobby and just getting back into it a couple months ago, of course I just learned I'm going overseas for work for anywhere from 3 to 6 months. Has anyone ever used (with good results) a tank sitting or maintenance service in the Seattle area? I'm near Seatac airport. I know some of the LFSs like Barrier Reef offer this service, but I think I want to use someone who does this kind of thing everyday instead of an LFS just sending someone over who happens to be free that day...if that makes sense. I know it won't be cheap, but I don't know what else to do. Thanks!
  5. Hey guys, I've been away from reefs for about 12 years now and found this group through Reef2Reef. I had to sell my last tank when I moved from AZ to WA but recently gave in to the desire to start another reef. I'm pretty excited. I have quite a pile of parts stacked up in my kitchen and hopefully my Waterbox will be here early next week. Hope to meet some other local reefers soon.
