  1. Just booked my stay for the weekend in Rockaway Beach. It's going to be an amazing weekend on the coast! perfect timing!!
  2. I am looking forward to seeing everyone. Count me in!
  3. One if these ran for about 30 days and the other about 7 days. $80 each These are about the same size as the maxspect 4k gyres and produce about the same flow. It was tricky to get these connected to the mobile app. But I figured out the exact steps that works flawlessly. There are great flow modes and programmed run times. As an individual flow pump it is great! The downside is when you need more than one linked. While it does allow for a master and secondary linked pumps for alternating flow modes, only the master can have different power settings per program. The secondary pump only has a user-defined power setting that is used for every programmed mode and time. For example, if you want the secondary to flow at 75% in gyre mode during the day, but need it to run at 30% in constant flow at night you can't run it at 30%. It must run at 75%. If you unlink them and run as individuals, then you can set the speed and mode for each programmed time. Perhaps they will release a new firmware to give the secondary pumps in a linked configuration more flexibility someday. I didn't want to wait and replaced them with a Hydros Wave Engine and 2 Maxpect 4k gyres. Will not ship.
  4. I told my wife I'm going to the fish store later today and she grabbed an IR temperature gun to check me for a fever. lol
  5. Hi Kris, Per forum rules - all classified ads need a price. Once your post is updated it will be approved.
  6. This is a factory refurbished unit that was sent to me by mistake (they sent me two after I sent back my original for a warranty issue) and didn't want it back. I am currently using the other one on my display tank as a battery backup. I've powered it on to test it is working properly and put it back in the box. These have a 882 watt/hr capacity with an included 1400 watt pure sine wave inverter. More info can be found on it's product page: EcoFlow DELTA mini Portable Power Station (Refurbished) - EcoFlow These have a feature similar to a UPS battery backup where when plugged into AC, it will pass that power through to it's AC outlets. But when the AC source drops, it will immediately switch to using onboard batteries to power the AC inverter - my tank's controllers and equipment do not skip a beat when this happens. 882 watt/hour capacity means it will power 882 watts of stuff for 1 hour or 100 watts of stuff for 8.82 hours. However, this is theoretical based on 100% efficiency, and nothing is 100% percent efficient. So real world times will be less. It has a mobile app so you can see how much time is remaining on battery. $275. Will not ship. Includes solar panel charging cables. Here is a pic of my other Delta mini currently being used on my tank (with soda can for size comparison).
  7. Thanks. That actually started out as dry Marco rock about a year ago. Mounted a large Duncan on it, which keeps it shaded.

  9. All classifieds need the products to have a price to be approved.
  10. You probably already know this but the inkbird settings has a calibration value which allows you to offset what it thinks your temp is and what it should be. I use a certified external temp probe to set this and the similar setting on the Hydros. I use this probe to confirm temps about monthly. (And on my brisket on the smoker)
  11. I use the Inkbird 306a. It has two temp probes for redundancy. I have two titanium heaters plugged into it. One of those heaters is barely enough to maintain the temp with the home being 10 degrees cooler than the tank. The inkbird is plugged into my tank controller (Hydros). I have two temp probes on the Hydros for redundancy. The Hydros will cut power to the Inkbird if the temp gets too high or if the return pump is off for any reason. I periodically check the wattage of the inkbird in the Hydros to confirm both heaters are functional. All four temp probes are mounted in the first section of the sump.
  12. Thanks. That is wider than I thought and too big for my space. Good luck with the sale.
  13. What are you thinking of asking for the whole setup? What are the dimensions of the tank? What lights are on it?
  14. Be careful of the scams some of the less reputable retailers are pulling during Black Friday sales frenzy.. I am seeing more and more stores artificially inflate prices that the discounts are based on. Take for example BRS... I had a few things in my cart before the BF sales began. Noticed the cart price compared to the updated full (and sale) price now that BF is full affect... DI resin before BF: $12.74 now $14.99 discounted to $11.99 (only $.75 below normal retail price). Not a $3 savings as BRS implies. Here's another example of Magnesium. Normally $16.99 now BF discounted to $15.99 with an artificially inflated referenced retail price of $19.99. It is technically on sale and I am glad to save $1. But it's not the BF savings they want you to believe. scam Here is another example on citric acid. Before the sale it was $11.89 for 32oz. The super BF deal is $11.19 (with an artificially inflated reference price of $13.99) Support your local fish store this holiday season and don't get suckered into BF sales that are scams!
  15. Just stopped by ATA to pick up some filter roller fleece and took a sneak peak of some of the new corals they just got in. These two are pretty darn sweet!
