  1. Im currently in the market for a shallow tank. I need something larger than my e170, but my caveat is that I need something with a large footprint, and a max height of 20" to avoid putting any more pressure on the floor per square inch than my e170. Ideally something 36-60" long, 24-36" wide, 14-20" tall. Interested in glass or acrylic. My apartments say that my 120g is fine, but having 2 large 2 year old dogs that get a little rambunctious at times, i get uncomfortable with the weight distribution. I have a 4'x2'x2' 120g, or a 72"x24"x27" or 29" 200/210 (cant remember exact dimensions, in storage) I can trade, or have cash.

  2. While I was moving the tank the other day i noticed a small chip on the backside of the front pane on the front corner. It may have been resealed at some point, I never noticed because I never had the side panes visible. Im still confident in it golding water long term, just wanted to mention it. 20210127_152052.thumb.jpg.9651f18711b7e54b0929f634f991a4e9.jpgPrices are flexible. Would consider trades for a 40-90g tank, corals, or a 24" hybrid fixture.

  3. I stopped in yesterday and scooped up the BEST VALUE in corals I have EVER gotten, not to mention he has an absolutely BEAUTIFUL display stuffed full of nice stuff. Cant believe how many super cool frags I managed to get! Wish I could have been one of the first to poke through!!

  4. I kept telling myself i was gonna set this back up, but the floors in my new apartment just dont comfortably support it. I love this tank, the overflow is a nice design that actually rarely needed adjustment, significantly less than my current RS E170 that im running a sump on. The stand is an MDF stand that i reinforced because i wasnt confident in it holding the tank, it held fine for the 9 months i had it up, but i had plans of replacing it. Would prefer it goes with the tank since i have no way to dispose of it if not. The tank is in pretty good shape, has a few scratches, most of which could be buffed out, but most are not noticeable when full. Would like to get $200 for the tank, stand, and plumbing. Its pretty much clean, will be wiped down and cleaned fully before its picked up.20210106_104648.thumb.jpg.7583f62e8ec28cf7fd93aa7af6bb7201.jpg

Ive also got a 40g breeder sump. It worked great for me. Has quite a few divided chambers to run a fuge, various equipment, etc. Looking to get $100 for this. Cleaned and ready to goIMG_20200121_132438180.jpg.9a412e06031e59a9c58b692a7eb072de.thumb.jpg.9788e9194924da3e1da5409dee5c74f8.jpg

Hydor Seltz D 2400gph DC return pump. Never ran above 50%. Cleaned and ready to go. $100obo

2 Jebao OW-50's. Both ran for a few months at 50% or less. Cleaned and ready to go. $45 each, or $80 for both. 20210106_113258.thumb.jpg.00a2f47888154cac92f071cad6aeb1c2.jpg

Ive also got around 150lbs of live rock. Been underwater for roughly 2 years. $2-3/lb

I may also have some other equipment i track down and add.

Located in Lake Oswego, can meet at cuttlefish.

  5. Ideally i would like to see these 2 go to ne homes larger than the 8'x5' pond theyre currently housed in. Ive got a captive bred, 18" male epaulette shark. Hes healthy, and fat. Eats frozen like a champ, honestly ive worried about him eating too much a few times. I would keep him, but ive decided i want to get a pair of banded cat sharks and try to breed them. Asking $1100 or best offer for him. I know thats a bit more than theyre going for on live aquaria, but the ones from them are wild caught, and are not readily eating frozen. Can send videos of him eating.20201021_235533.thumb.jpg.a0048757df489eac06354815dcc9a84c.jpg20201018_212618.thumb.jpg.f1dbd6cdb2d6dd63b8de5c8acb11afba.jpg20201017_235223.thumb.jpg.15d007cfdc1aa6a105e369513543f1fb.jpg

Ive also got a fully grown male, black Hallers stingray. This one was wild caught. But eats everything i drop in for him. Asking $200 or best offer for him. Id let them go together for $1200. Photos are from a 120g holding tank i had them in while i setup the pond. Will update with current photos this evening.

But that would mean I would have to interact with people....  LOL

This is the most difficult thing about selling stuff. But legit holy grails are going for $1000/head right now on r2r when they pop up, so you might as well unload em while theyre still fetching 4 figure pricetags for super nice frags.😂

So I have a small frag tank and moved to a 30 gal.  Now upgraded to a 90 with 30 gal sump.  Due to cost I'm forced to light the tank with an old 4 bulb t5 fixture I found on offerup.  I put in new 2- 10k and 2-420blue lights .   It's a total of 216watts.   Will this be enough for lps and softies all the way to bottom? Tank is 48" long and about 20" deep. The fixture it's right on my tank.

This fixture was free, though would have preferred LEDs. The wife would not approve of a large purchase at this time .

I would say yes, youll keep things alive. But id doubt youll see any real growth or good coloration. T5 led hybrid is the way to go, and easy enough to slap some reefbrite xhos on and youd get the par you need to accomplish your goals.

If however you were interested in just going full send and getting a crazy light that will grow literally anything you put under it, i am selling an 8b ATI powermodule hybrid that lit my 120g up to 310 par on the bottom corners. Got good bulbs, new fans, and its fully programmable as well. More cost effective than anything else thats remotely comparable too at used prices.
