Ive got a Traxxas Rustler that I gotta work on. Replace the engine, and probably pick up some new batteries.

You know what forget the $10 candy cane it's yours free as well if you ever make it to the area. Unfortunately I can't make any meetings (I work and babysit a lot) but I'd be happy to help get your tank really going! If it helps I am in the Tigard area near Washington square most weekday mornings so if maybe your parents are in that area I'm ok with meeting them there to give you the coral if that helps

  4. You might consider waiting a few weeks before getting a new fish just to be sure it isn't something environmental that was making it not want to eat. Better to wait a bit longer to see how things play out than risk an additional investment and your other livestock. Just my opinion and I am by no means an expert.

Yeah I think youre right. I think it was just the cardinal, as I had him for over a month and he never ate, while my other fish are fine, but Ill definitely wait just to be safe.

Sorry to hear that.  I try to only purchase fish that I can see eat at the shop to reduce the risk but that isn't always possible.  Even then, the extra move into another tank or QT can put them over the edge so it's always a possibility to get one that ultimately won't take food.  Hopefully you get a more cooperative one next go around.  Fortunately, they are relatively common at the LFS so you should have a good chance to score a healthy one soon.

Thats my plan I think. make sure its eating and hope they're a bit more cooperative. I hope someday to have a huge shoal of them, but for now I've gotta settle for one.  Im heading over to cuttlefish & corals sunday, hope to pick one up there.

  6. considering adding some more rock... maybe moving the tall pointy piece to the opposite corner and getting a bigger, rounder piece to replace it on the right. thoughts? yay? nay? not really sure. id like a bit more space to place frags thought and that might help.

  7. 999b226d6e481d013cde66e45f656c74.jpg So the tank is still looking pretty empty, which is to be expected, its only a few monthsold and Im on a highschool students budget. But Im trying to figure out what to add next. Im thinking a Lobophyllia would look nice on the substrate, and I know I want a candycane in the crack in the rocks in the center, but other than that im more or less stumped. Any suggestions on what to add to fill out the space a bit more? Softies or lps. Thanks!
