  3. 200 gallon deep dimension

have not tried miracles. i got a quote from coast to coast.. $1,600 shipping??!? please.. is someone delivering it with an uber? and AGE. the AGE is super super nice with a 1" pvc bottom. But still around $4,200 shipped. customaquariums.com seems really cheap but I have read a couple horror stories about customer service. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  4. 200 gallon deep dimension

MY GOD!! Custom tanks are EXPENSIVE.... I have gotten two estimates for a 6'x3'x24" rimless tank and they have both come in around 6k shipped!! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  5. 200 gallon deep dimension

wood stand.. At any rate, this post was to gauge interest and there has been a LOT of interest. Which is good. I am expecting quotes from custom tank builders this week. if they are not too outrageous then I'll take pics and let this tank go. cheers Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

  11. Hobby joys

i have a TDS meter on my rodi and I'll give it to someone if they want it. if your rodi suddenly starts making tons of water... you ripped the membrane.. if it stops making water.. it's time to replace. Buy a refillable DI cartridge and a pack of color changing resin. When half of the cartridge changes color to gold.. CHANGE IT!! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  12. How to determine you have reef OCD.

too late, now you have to come on saturday... crawlspace party!!! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  13. When you spend half the day in your crawl space thinking about cutting through floor joists and then order an endoscope to confirm that you could probably plumb your tank through the floor, over a concrete footing, through a floor joist, and then inside the basement ceiling to the other side of the room... then you know... you are a little off and a little OCD Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

  16. Bristle/Fireworm Sting - Tried Vinegar

  17. Anybody else into RC?

man, I used to be soooo into racing RC trucks. it was fun but man, sooo much work! they were always breaking, always. i would take two complete race ready truggies and a box of parts, motors, etc to the track. One day i added up how much i was spending.. sold all of them except my 1/18th scale mamba powered mini. I clocked it at 68 once. then i was drinking with friends and did a speed run right into a curb. totalled. would love to fly planes again though... Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  18. Need a home for my 125gal SPS Tank

i would be interested in sps colonies. the key to actually selling things is to price it to sell. I mean, dont give the stuff away but if you try and squeeze every last cent out of everything you will hey lots of people that kind of sort of want things but, well, i dont know, maybe.... people are amazing. i have seen the same skimmer and pumps on CL for like 4 months... you think people would get a clue. a good place to check on market value for things is reef2reef. good equipment gets snatched up quickly when priced fairly. The high end stuff usually goes for about 30% off retail. fish and coral though typically sell for less Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  19. yeah. what is the deal with the apex all in one monitor? i heard all about it then poof.. i havent heard anything. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  20. Bristle/Fireworm Sting - Tried Vinegar

the acidic thing only works on certain stings.. jellyfish and man of war i am certain it works because i have used it. pacific jellyfish barely sting but i came up from snorkeling into a small man of war once... WHOA!!! They sting in a BIG way. interestingly enough i read that heat kills the toxins in lion fish stings. so if you ever get stung immerse your hand in very hot water. 25. Update your fire protection - AFCI vs CAFCI

well, the electric is all up to code, its just completely idiotic how they laid it all out. well, not completely up to code anyways. I do believe that you need one outlet every 12 feet along the walls. A friend of mine said that in the 90's "convenience" was all the rage. So someone thought that being able to turn off the outlets From a switch was a good idea. which I suppose is fine. But its a small gripe in the end. We absolutely love the new house. I am listening to two great horned owls hooting at each other right now. Much more relaxing that listening to the bus chug by [emoji4] Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
