    Maxspect Gyre or Jebao CP40?

Is it your only source of circulation? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Maxspect Gyre or Jebao CP40?

Agreed. If I do go with the Gyre, I'll mount in on the left wall, pointing toward the right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Maxspect Gyre or Jebao CP40?

The main reason I like the Gyre, is that it will be plenty as the only source of circulation in my 75 gal tank. (Besides the return pump). I'm not a fan of having a bunch of powerheads all over the walls of the tank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Maxspect Gyre or Jebao CP40?

Do you mount your WPs on the back wall of the tank, pointing toward the front? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I've pretty much decided to purchase a Gyre-style wavemaker. It would seem that I could save over half the money by buying the Jebao, but I have heard some horror stories by way of reviews. (Quit running after a few months, etc). The Maxspect has better reviews, but is over twice the price of the Jebao. Can anyone that has experience with these units offer any reviews/advice? Please & thanks, -Breck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    pH and Alkalinity?

I know these are related, but are separate measurements. Is there an easy formula for determining your alkalinity based on your pH readings? Thanks, -Breck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Where To Buy Rod's Food in Puget Sound?

Barrier Reef is my go-to LFS. I should have called and asked them if they carry it. (I only checked their website, and didn't see it listed). Lesson learned. I ended up ordering some from Marine Depot. I thought the price was right at $19.99 for the 6oz pack, but they charge an additional $19.99 for frozen handling. I'll just buy from Barrier Reef next time I just found out about this product yesterday, and based on the reviews, I was super excited to get my hands on some. Thanks for the info, and I look forward to feeding my tank with your product! -Breck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
