  1. Nuvo Fusion 30L Setup - Great Christmas Present

Question about the Apex, is it the JR or full setup? I'm looking for a good used Apex and would be interested in buying. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  2. FS: Winch Mount for 10-17 Ram 2500/3500

Still available. $190.00 for both tray and chrome trim. Can bring to December club meeting to save a trip. It is heavy. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  3. Thinking about selling it all

I agree with everyone else...don't give up! I haven't completed my reef build yet and can only imagine the amount of time, money, blood, sweat, and tears you have put into your system. I think the fact that you are sustaining a tropical marine ecosystem in a glass or acrylic [emoji6] box in your house... in Oregon...is pretty amazing. Keep at it! 4. FS: Winch Mount for 10-17 Ram 2500/3500

Sorry it took so long to reply. It fits right in the center, on the outside covering the opening in bumper. You remove the factory tow hooks and it mounts to the same holes with provided hardware. Here is a link to the PDF install sheet. It has some good pictures and you can see what is entailed. http://westinautomotive.com/applicationchart/pdf/75-0150.pdf Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  5. overflow..

I have used Krylon Fusion before on freshwater, with no ill effects. I have read on other reefing forums people using it as well. I would just let it cure for a bit longer to make sure it won't leach anything. Just my thought. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  6. I know it isn't reef related, but thought I would put it out to my fellow reefers. I have a Westin brand winch mounting tray and chrome trim for a 2010 - 2017 Ram 2500 or 3500. I bought it for my Ram, but never installed it. Still brand new in its box. I also have the chrome front plate for the tray to match the bumper. It mounts to the frame using the tow hook mounts. No bumber mod required. Below is a link for more details. http://westinautomotive.com/westin/viewproduct.jsp?id=45&vehicleId=&s_id=ae1b7a1e-26a2-63fd-40a4-873b430885bc&year=2014&make=RAM&model=2500&submodel=&cabstyle=&bedstyle=null&bedLength=null&driveTrainSystem=null I can bring to next club meeting to save a trip. Let's say 200.00 for both Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  7. !@*%^) Uniseals

I plan on 1 in bulkheads for my brute containers I'm setting up. I did research and people had success with uniseals as well, but some leaked and were touchy. I agree it depends on the thickness of the container. The 32 gallon Brute is thin enough that the bulkhead should flatten the curve and seal. If I got those food grade blue barrels, uniseals would have been better. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  8. Bulkhead dicussion

I would think you would be fine. I have never personally done it, but that's because haven't needed to not because it won't work. As long as you have (flange - gasket - glass/acrylic - nut) you should be good either way ???? ...unless you have a fish strong enough and smart enough to unscrew the bulkhead from the inside lol [emoji6] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  9. TapaTalk scrambled?

I too was having issues where topics and replies were not matched up. Once I was in the thread I was looking for all was good though. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  10. Holiday Party Raffle Item Poll..

+1 I second that [emoji106] As for the raffle item...hmm...how about an Apex setup! Just dreaming here. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  11. November Meeting at Cuttlefish and Corals!!!

Just wanted to pass my thanks along to Jeff as well for allowing the use of his shop. I had a great time for my first club meeting. It was nice to meet all of you and look forward to all the knowledge and experience as I set up my tank! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  12. First Reef Build - 125 Gallon

You got it! That's my motto [emoji1] It was my first experience with TAP and it was great, would use them again for sure! I'm lucky my wife has been patient with this reef project and my cutting a giant home in our living room wall lol Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  13. First Reef Build - 125 Gallon

Thanks! I ordered all the acrylic from a company called TAP Plastics online. They have a cut to order section. I planned out the sump, then ordered all my baffles and pieces with the correct dimensions. They showed up in about 3 days. The best part is the only "cutting" I had to do was cutting the holes for the filter socks. [emoji6] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  14. First Reef Build - 125 Gallon

Finished the sump build. Just need to leak test! Can't wait to get it plumbed in. Decided on the Skimmer - Return - Fuge configuration. The water will come in from overflow into two 4 x 14 in filter socks. Then into the skimmer section where the mag18 will pump the raw tank water into the EV 240. Followed by the bubble trap and return. I will divert via ball valve some of the return flow into the Fuge. This will allow a controlled flow. Not perfect, but will get it going. Thanks! I am building my sump now. Will get some completed pictures up soon. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
