  1. Thank you very much. Compliments from the pros really mean a lot to me. I'm actually struggling with a maxima clam at the moment. It's not opening. It's attached itself to the bottom of the tank so I can't move it. I'm nervous that I saw pyramid snails under one of its flutes but I inspected it very closely when I got it and it was looking great for the first 3 weeks then suddenly it's not opening for the last few days :( any ideas? My parameters aren't ideal but I can show you pics of literally every coral and fish and even the derasa clam and everything looks very happy. I guess there's always gotta be at least one thing that isn't happy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. I hate to sound like a wet blanket but Goodwill sucks. Many people think that based on the name they are helping a charity. It's just a business named Goodwill and you donate the guys products to him for free, then he sells them and makes money. There is no charity. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. I have had both. I had a file fish take a bite out of the maxima and get its face caught and I had to pull them both out of the tank, pull the fish' face out of the clam and put them back. The fish lived and so did the clam. They both did fine till I had a heater malfunction and my water went to 94 degrees for about 10 hours. Lost all large fish and the clams and a few coral. I know a guy who had a yellow tang eat his 9" maxima. But you two are the only cases I've ever heard of a tang eating a clam. His did it while he was out of town and the care taker forgot to feed the fish for a few days so they had to eat something. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
