Obvious suggestion, lower the light closer to the surface and run it at a lower intensity?

How about nesting a bunch of diamond tipped glass hole saws around the 3/8” drill bit? Glass hole saws are super cheap and you should be able to get a ton of use out of them when cutting something soft like calcium carbonate live rock.

I had an idea a while back to make a masonry bit that would drill the hole and countersink the frag plug head too. Got busy with other things.

Cuttlefish should have them, good price too.

Do you know for sure if a standard 120g is exactly 48” x 24”?

Let me put a tape on it when I get home. If I remember right the stand footprint was a little bigger than the tank.

I have an IM NUVO SR80 stand you can have. It’s in decent shape, I’d rate it a 6.5/10. 
 

Please bear in mind, the stand was for an 80g AIO tank and not a 120g tank.
