I put the frag plug up on the rocks last month. Inevitably, the rock fell and left this one attached: Since then the frag plug has been unhappy on the sand: I count 7 babies, 6 adults. Maybe 7 adults if you count the one left on the rock.

@Badxgillen Those must be fake. Of course it's not possible to grow coral without an RODI system. On a side note, I wonder if your LFS had no RODI...anyone out there that can vouch?

Hey everyone, Is there anyone here who had a reef aquarium before RODI was a thing? I just had to replace my membranes and filter, and it made me think if there was a time when no one had an RODI unit. I imagine there was..... Did you do anything different to compensate? Maybe get your water from the store or other special places?

That's a filefish right? If so, what type?

I remember losing fish and thinking the shrimp or crabs ate them. When I moved out, I found two fish dead under/behind the stand. Maybe a cover for the aquarium will help. *Crossing my fingers for the lights*
