  1. I recently had to tear down my 55 gallon tank at school due to some new rules about fish tank size.

I have had the tank up and running for about a year and it works flawlessly.

For sale is the tank with corner overflow, wood stand and matching wood canopy.

    $100 obo

For $150 obo, you can get the sump/skimmer combo I used along with the metal halide light setup and ballast (old school screw in type) I'll get pictures up later for lights.

Cons: the price is $100 for the tank because it is missing the center brace on top (see pictures) but in my year of running the tank it never caused me any problems, the return line needs a new bulk head (3/4 inch and about $10 on Amazon). Other than that, it's a used tank, nothin new and fancy but she gets the job done and looks nice all put together.

If you have any questions just shoot me a PM. I'm located in the Salem area.

  2. I started a second thread because is couldn't seem to find my pervious one but of course I was able to find it right after I put this one up haha. The reason I need a grow out tank is a rather depressing reason actually, my land lord in corvallis is forcing me to take my tank down sometime this month. So here I am, wanting to continue the hobby of course so I decided to try and connect a grow out tank into my dads 180 display (or a stand alone system) so I could still keep coral and watch them grow to either trade with all of you guys or sell!  :)

I do not have any exact dimensions that I am looking for, I have a fairly large area to work with (the garage) so I'm open to all sizes. I was thinking of using a shallow tank for better light penetration/growth. For example I was thinking of using a 2'x 4' x 6" deep hydroponic flood table but I'm still trying to figure out if I want to go that route or find an actual tank to use.

    What do you have?

  3. Does anybody have a frag tank they would like to sell, or a hydroponics flood table? I am looking to set up a grow out tank and wanted to see if anyone on here might have one for sale before I was forced to buy a brand new one.

  4. I am looking to set up a frat tank around the end of June and I'm starting to plan it all out. Does anyone on here have a frag tank they wouldn't mind selling? The other option I am considering is using a hydroponics flood table, 2'x4'.

    Thoughts?

  5. I recently just build a new sump system for my tank and upgraded my skimmer so I no longer need this bad boy. I have used this setup for almost a year and it has treated me well. The skimmer pump was replaced in October.
    It is a CPR CY192 sump/skimmer combo.
The skimmer is rated to 100 gallons and features a drip plate for adding media.
It can be found on Marine Depot if you want more details/reviews and it is on sale for for $357.67. I'm looking to get $150 obo. I'm also open to trades, just let me know what you've got.
I can bring it to the meeting this weekend.
