  1. I’ve got a fair amount of zoas. All named. All well under your $40 mark. Here is one picture from about two months ago. Frags have grown significantly since then. Rastas, bams bams, blue berry fields, dragons eyes, eye of raw, scrambled eggs, and more. Message me if you’re interested and I’ll send some pics from around the frag tank. I’m located a little bit outside of south salem. -Cody Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. Yes. Very small section and usually diseased. If you need to go to percolate hit the one in Albany. Otherwise visit Garrett at TPA in Salem Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. It’s doing great! The guy I got it from had it for 3 weeks. And it is doing just fine after a tank transfer. It need to color up a lot but it’s going to be awesome and huge! It’s just chilling in the frag tank. It’s super difficulty I get healthy magnifica anemones. So I’m hoping I can continue to bring them in an rehab them for people Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. If you don’t find one, I have a last resort option haha. It’s an old 50ish gallon AIO acrylic tank. Needs a lot of TLC. But if your buddy wants to clean it up and polish the acrylic it could be a nice tank. If you want to come pick it up, it’s yours. I’m out of town till mid week but I can send pics when I get back if you want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Sorry, I forgot to check which forum this was under. It’s under general so you’re totally fine. When you start a sale thread it will be under the classified and then you will need pricing. But for now you are just fine. As for pricing I would just list stuff for what you feel ok letting it go for. I know that sounds simple but you should feel good about your sales. If you’re ok with selling a rock for say $50. Then just write it as “rock with corals $50 OBO”. The OBO stand for “or best offer” and that will allow people to offer you less if they think your asking too much Or as Nate said, list the whole thing as one item. Yes you will sell it overall for less but it can be much easier that trying to part out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I would be interested in the gyre and kessil light. But per forum rules, your main post needs to include pricing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I’ll kick off this thread! Been quite a while since I’ve been to a meeting and I’m looking forward to catching up with everyone! I’ve got a number of corals I am looking to sell or trade. —Looking for— high end zoas (all kinds), all euphyllia types, bleeding apple scoly, high end chalices, and other LPS I find interesting. Pm me with anything you might want to trade *If you are looking to just purchase frags, shoot me a message with what you’re interested in. Most of my frags will be in the $10-20 range. Rock flowers are $35 each What I have: —Softie— GSP Kenya Tree Pink Gorgonian (photosynthetic) —Zoas— Blueberry field Dragons eyes Eye of Raw Scrambled Eggs Rastas Grandis Paly Bam Bams I also have mixed frags of the above varieties. One frag could have two or three variations of zoas. —Rock Flower Nems— All are pending. If you want some, I might be able to have more ready by the meeting. Just PM me -Pictures- Here are some “stock” photos. All frags will be good size and contain multiple polyps. The only exception being the speckled Krakatoa which are either single or double polyp. 18. The December meeting is right around the corner. I thought it was in order to start lining up some trades and seeing what people have for sale! I’m going to borrow a long write up from one of Berts previous trade posts to lay the ground work. I’ve done a few of these myself so if you are new and have questions, just ask away “As mentioned in the December meeting thread the holiday party would make an opportune place/time to have a frag swap so lets get one started here. These are the general guidelines I like to recommend for these coral exchanges. If you would like, you can do your trading on the fly by just bringing by a few pieces and hoping that some one will have a desirable coral you want...Or better yet, you can post up what you have to trade and work out a preemptive exchange here on the forums, that method always works best for me. You can feel free to use this thread to post your trade-ables in or start a thread of your own. But First, let me get you some of Bert's basis tips for success here. 1.) make an attempt to have a fragment of reasonable size and health and try and get things cut and ready a few days to a week ahead of time to have the wounds healed up for the exchange. And double/triple check for pest invertebrates or algaes before sending your corals out, we try to keep invasives to a minimum here...And once you get your frags home, just in case, always acclimate the specimens then dip the corals before you put them into your personal aquarium. QT Aquariums are best but good old Revive, Coral RX, Melafix, Iodine, or Bayer will do much better at prevention than nothing. 2.) Try to package your corals appropriately. This can mean not putting a spiny coral like birds nest into a thin dollar store bag or not utilizing insulation on an extended cold or warm trip. Try a small cooler or Styrofoam. If you can't find either of these and the destination is a long distance, keep the vehicle air conditioned or heated appropriately. As far as packaging goes you can double bag and use thicker mil plastics, or something else like a Tupperware or specimen container. I have even used washed out yogurt or cottage cheese containers that stack well inside the coolers. Just use something that will work, nothing like losing a nice and colorful animal because the bag got too cold and leaked all the water out on the way home. 3.)Do your best to be courteous and fair to one another by not take advantage of each others ignorance or generosity. These are people of all levels in the hobby so give them the benefit of your knowledge and experience instead of the cold shoulder. And speaking of generosity, that giving nature has always been smiled upon here at PNWMAS and pay it forward tends comes back around these parts. So Let's see em folks, Whatcha Got!? Corals that is!” Let’s get this thing going! I know I have a few items on my list [emoji41]

  23. Oh you reminded me. Using my apex, the electrical float valves are only allowed to “open” ,aka release the solenoid, two times a day. Once in the AM from 8-9 and in the evening from 8-9. This helps accomplish the same thing as quoted above. Basically power is off 22 hours a day to my electrical floats making it “impossible” for the solenoid to open. I like Bills idea of cleaning out the filters. Might switch it to just once a day..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
