  1. Hey everyone! Been quite a while since I last posted. Life has changed a ton for me and reefing has taken a back seat. New baby, new home, moved cities etc. So, it is time to finally let my stuff go as I do not see myself setting a tank up for a few years. Most of this stuff was bought brand new for my 75G build that I started back in early 2018. The tank was taken down in January of 2021 when my son was born and we moved. Since then the items have been just sitting in my garage. I went through all of the electronics and everything works just as perfect as when the tank came down. I have videos of them all running that I can text you if you would like. I have been out of the game for a little while and pricing is my educated guess based on checking around so feel free to make me offers. The build with these items can be found here. A) Ecotech MP-10QD Wireless—SOLD B) Simplicity 240DC Skimmer $125—SOLD C) ATO that was given to me. $$$Free with purchase of anything haha! D) 75 gallon display tank and stand/canopy. Includes Synergy Reef overflow 16" shadow, and the T-5 Retrofit kit from BRS. $75 -the stand needs work. But it was built with 2x4s so it is solid. The plywood I skinned it with and trim could stand to be replaced E) Trigger Emerald 34 sump $150–SOLD F) B-Ionic Calcium and Alkalinity—Sold G) If you want more than one thing shoot me a PM and I will give you a package deal. Location: Tank is in Independence, but can brought to my new house in Kiezer. All other items are located in Keizer.

  9. Electrical outlet out for a little too much corrosion and it must have sparked and caught fire. We caught it fast so damage was minimal and 90% of the frag tank corals were fine. Just lost the Mag Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I did have one I was treating and getting ready for sale but after I had that fire in my fish room it died :( So now I’m back to just the one in my display. I’ll hopefully be QTing some more in the near future. [emoji1696] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I few years old. But that shed gets a ton of water evaporation. It is home to my frag system and a koi pond filtration system. It’s a rough atmosphere in the shed. So I’m pretty confident that corrosion was the culprit. Shed wasn’t intended to be a fish room so it doesn’t have the best layout for frag tanks haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I plan to do the same. Out of sight, out of mind. So an audio alarm would be helpful to grab your attention. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks everyone, I was very, very, very blessed that it was caught early and didn’t burn the whole building down. So far it looks like damage was minimal. Just need to replace some insulation, 2x4s and chip board. And try to get the smell of smoke out of the shed. Going to be replacing all the outlets in the shed and add an anti corrosive gel to all socket connections. Hopefully that helps make sure this never happens again. Also it’s amazing that the frag tank is totally fine. Skimmer running and everything during the fire (I’ve since shut it off). The whole room was full of smoke. Kinda crazy that the skimmer wasn’t pulling in all that crap and pumping it into the tank. Definitely got very lucky with the whole situation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. No smoke detector. Saw smoke [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Well I can honestly say In all the reef planning I never planned for this. One of the electrical outlets in my fish room burst into flames yesterday. Nothing was plugged into it and the outlet hadn’t been used for about 6 weeks. I’m still unsure what caused the fire but the leading theory is corrosion. Thankfully it was caught before too much damage was done. I am also lucky that the fish shed is detached from the main house. I wanted to share this so other reefers could start planning for how to avoid electrical fires in there fish rooms. I was very luck and I count my blessings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. Is this a micro hammer or a normal sized hammer? If normal I may be interested in a double you have left. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
