I totally forgot about these. They were at Toys R Us 3 years ago. I was looking for gifts for my niece and nephew and while I was shopping they threw a huge pallet of these down on the isle. They were pretty cheap, I think about 25 bucks. I ended up picking a couple up for them. I bet they are stuffed in a closet collecting dust. ...... I should have gotten one for me :-(

I know this (something like it), went around the forum a while back, but i would recommend somethin like this over plain wood stand: https://virtuallyamy.wordpress.com/2008/08/13/build-a-strong-inexpensive-aquarium-stand/ You can get really fancy and it looks good (you could even cover it with a nice table cloth) with the bricks in a "dire need" quick fix for just a few bucks at Home Depot :-) .

Tailspot is one of my favorites and have great personality (Another great one is a yellow watchman goby .. They always look grumpy, but awesome personality as well). If you want a little rarer you could always go with the beautiful Dracula Goby and pair him with a Pistol Shrimp. They are fun to watch.

Ya, from my understanding there is a burn ban in both states (recent local news). I was up @ Mt. Hood last week and forest station said was already in affect. This upcoming weekend Trout Lake ????. At least I have fishin.

All, I have 2 items that I just don't see myself using at the moment. Was seeing if anyone was interested. Apex Neptune System (black label), that I purchased used from a friend. Checked it out, and everything seems to work perfectly. Comes with everything you would normally get, but note that the PH Probe is dry. How about $400.00 ? ---------- Tunze Osmolator 3155, another unit I purchased used. Tested and everything works (and looks) great. I cannot confirm when it was purchased, but it is the newer model with the switch inside to manipulate water flow. How about $150.00 ? ---------- I am located in Vancouver, and would prefer not to ship.

I agree with Blue. There is something missing in the article. You need some sort of Anode in order to create the actual electricity. Sure, if we dose this saltwater with magnesium to gain the electrons needed to actually power the car then I could see it. Battery to water to battery is not nearly as impressive as using only my aquarium saltwater to fill up my car and drive off into the sunset :-).

I have a new AIO 5 gallon pico aquarium that has been professionally drilled and has a new micro-reef 3 gallon refugium. How advanced you looking to get :-). Only needs plumbing and your good to go!
