Any common reasons why when ever I get a nem they hide in my rocks. They usually start out good and happy but seem to head for the rocks within a week or so. I've lost two in the past and my newest one is starting to hide, don't want to loose another one. Lighting: 6 bulb T-5 ATI bulbs 8.5" off water level, nem is about 14" deep in tank. 3x Coral Plus 2x Blue Plus 1x Actinic Water: Could use a WC but perimeters are good Temp: 78.4 Sal.: 1.021 RedSea test kit Mag: 1350 Alk: 10.4 Cal: 450 API test kit PH: 8.3 Pho.: .8 Nitrites, Nitrates, Ammonia: 0 The nem still looks happy with lots of bubbles but why would he be hiding?

    Better than the bedroom Aquarium........

I like that there are "coral" on the surface so it would look like you were snorkeling in bed. Would be cool to do a whole upside down tank.

Corals for sale! And do you have?

What larger ones do you have? I would also be interested in one.

And that's why you don't order T5s off Amazon...

When I ordered my old T-5 fixture it came with 6 bulbs. Each bulb had a cardboard sleeve then they were taped together and then bubble wrapped around that then was packaged in a hard cardboard tube. I was very happy with the seller, don't remember if it came from Amazon or another seller.
  8. Sitting in to hear ideas for Majano eradication. I let one get into my tank a few years ago on a piece of live rock, It showed up under my carpet anemone and thought it was a baby (I was new to the hobby back then) now they are everywhere and I'm about to nuke the tank because of them.
  9. Are we going off what we told are wives we paid? What we actually paid? or retail? for me there is a big difference between the three. lol

Dang it Chris! Why you guys always get good shipments in on the weeks I don't get paid, I'm gonna have to talk to Garrett about his order dates, lol.

    Coral Battle Thread!!!

That was the reason I got rid of my huge carpet, I was moving on to SPS and didn't want him to kill them. But he did go to a good home in a much larger tank then mine.

FS: LEDs, pump, and misc stuff

Would you guys be able to meet up sometime somewhere and then I could pick it up from Gil&Fin? Also what would be the easiest way to pay you for it Noob?

FS: LEDs, pump, and misc stuff

That is awesome, now does anyone live in Vancouver and work in Portland, or vice versa? Really could use this pump for my mixing station build.

Anyone from up that way planning any trips to Salem area that would be willing to pick up the pump for me?

    Jebao Pumps...waste of money

IMO, Koralias are good as constant flow power heads, but need to be cleaned often and are loud (the restart clicking) when used as a wave maker. I switched from Koralias to RW-8s mainly for the quite operation, but still have most of them around maybe 1 or 2 have died.

    Spin Streams

    Spin Streams

Does the rotation speed up with faster flow?

    Cover your eyes!

They usually do good, we all spend a lot of time at TPA in Salem but they know us well there and have room for the kids to "walk" around. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

    Spin Streams

I'll have to look into it, really don't want to put them in and they become jet turbines. Lol Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

    Spin Streams

My returns are gonna be 3/4" but my flow will be around 1000 gph ish.

    Spin Streams

Any idea how much flow they can handle? Thinking about them on my returns for my 120 build.

    Jebao Pumps...waste of money

If nothing else they are good "in the meantime" equipment.

    Cover your eyes!

I really need to make a trip up there sometime without my kids, only time I've been in was with my kids and there were quit a few other people, and was to busy paying attention to my kids then getting a good look at everything.

    Jebao Pumps...waste of money

I bought my Jebao 12000 DC back in Oct. 2014, I think the most maintenance I've done on it was took it apart and rinsed it out when I switched sumps couple weeks ago. It's still going strong with no issues. I bought 2 Jebao RW-8s in Feb. 2015, haven't done any maintenance on them. Working fine. Bought my Jebao DP-4 in April 2015, Calibrated it when I got it and haven't touched it since. Pumps don't seem any louder then they did when I got it, Its only like 3' from my couch and can't hear it over the TV. I'm not saying Jebao are top notch high end quality equipment but I think they have been well worth my money. Seems like I've heard better results from people not cleaning there Jebaos. lol.
