  1. Your TDS is probably not actually 0 at the start. It's just below the sensitivity of your TDS meter.
  2. I would keep a circulation pump going to keep it aerated. Keep a tight fitting lid on your water to prevent evaporation, since the biggest thing I would worry about is having your salinity creep up before you use it. (That's probably what is happening to your RO water TDS too.) If you check the water to make sure the salinity is correct, I think you could let it sit for months with no issue. I use a salt mix that mixes up almost instantly, so I make my water about 10 minutes before I use it. EDIT: Now I see that you said your buckets were sealed. The only thing I can think of that would increase your RO water TDS as it sits would be leaching from the bucket into the water, evaporation, or dust settling into the water.
  3. Sounds like a nice setup. I would probably try to make room for a slightly larger sump, since it is nice to have space down there.
  4. Sure. It's really started to take off recently. It's a nice one!
  5. That's a wild Bonsai that I got from The Premium Aquarium in Salem.
  6. I think it would be April 14--7 days within the 7th of the month, when the grow out started.
  7. Here's some gratuitous shots from the frag tank! Don't mind the algae, I'm working on that.
  8. Here you go Robert! Final top-down shot: Day 1 top-down shot: Final measurement: Comparison: It's hard to get the angle right, but it looks to me like the center branch grew just a shade under 3/8 of an inch, and the long branch grew slightly under 1/8 of an inch. The frag plug was completely encrusted. Thanks again for running this grow-out, Robert! I can't wait to start fragging this bad boy!
  9. This one has to be my favorite, since my 8-yr-old got it for me for my birthday!
  10. It's easiest to link to your photos in photobucket
  11. Here's some shots of my home Red Sea Max 250. Pardon the reflection---we have sun outside at long last. I've finally gotten my Triton dosing dialed in, and my sps are starting to really take off. Below is a shot of the Scoly I got from Holly. Thanks again, Holly! Below you can see the LPS growout purple goni frag in the corner. Thanks, Robert! Here's what the color looks like without the amber gel filter that I got from Barrier Reef Aquariums. I'm still trying to find the right shade of amber, since I think the one I currently have on the lens is taking out too much blue. Here's a shot with a slightly lighter shade of amber filter. I think that is a little better. Here's the link again to these filters: http://www.barrierreefaquariums.com/productcart/pc/Cell-Phone-Gel-Filters-10-Pack-546p12111.htm
  12. This upgrade: http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/vortech-quietdrive-upgrade-driver-ecotech-marine.html I just got two of them for my MP10s. Brian, do you know if this issue was limited to a few units? Or is it a larger problem?
  13. Is that the one from the Ocean in a Box group buy? It looks like it colored up nicely for you.
  14. I have an almost new Jebao dc return pump I would trade for mp10
  15. That is impressive for 10 days. I've been drooling over those Onyx fixtures ever since the party bus tour of your facility.
  16. I love March Madness!

  17. Here's a pic: http://wamas.org/forums/topic/70282-neon-orange-branching-hammers/ Very nice!
