  1. Sorry, haven't been updating this much. Added Animal house and took out rose city.
  2. I would but am a horrible craftsmen/ builder. Knowing me something will not be right when constructing this. Ill try to build this if I cant find anyone when i gets colder. Just thought id give pnwmas a try here is my craigslist posting... portland.craigslist.org/wsc/wan/3097602987.html
  3. Hey everyone. Im just wondering if anyone knew someone that could build a reptile enclosure for my tortoise. It has I be closed off to keep heat in. The enclosure has to be large 6ft x 4ft with the front as glass. Can't find someone who could build such a thing.
  4. Depends on the puffer. Some are born killers and some are gentle. My puffer picks at snails and hermits, but never kills them. I had a cleaner shrimp with him for the longest time. He would constantly go up to the shrimp for cleaning. But the shrimp passed away. He still sometimes looks for him where the shrimp used to hang out. He never picks at my corals, just bumps into them. Mine likes killing gobies and crabs, thats all...
  5. I dont think putting a blanket over your tank be necessary. Fish put in a stressful situation sometimes stay on the bottom breathing and flapping hard. Keep an eye on him, but give him space as well. Some fish don't take change well. and what do you mean by blotchy skin? ime puffers are very hardy.
  6. Thanks! I'm using constant current drivers. Wasn't feeling the dimmer setup this time around.
  7. Hey everyone! hope you enjoy my biocube build! Went with rapidled.com The brightest leds ive seen. My eyes hurt soo much when i turned them on to test them. 2nd chamber will have a fuge decided to have the light up top instead of on the back of the cube. Everything has an on/off switch or button, thought it would make things easier. Hopefully I can make detachable cords one day. Maybe gonna add some digital thermometers on the heatsinks of the leds to make sure everything is doing fine. Now just waiting for some dry rock.
  8. Pm sent on aqualifter.
  9. I can trade an Xenia or 24 watt used biocube 14 bulbs. Looking for a used biocube filter. Mainly need the plastic casing.

    LED strips?

Less are great. They will break the bank though. Led strips are usually not that great. The one day you do decide to upgrade, I suggest you go with a company that provides 3w LEDs. It helps to know how big your tank is as well. You can get great DIY kits from rapidled.com. I currently ordered a plug in and play kit (no soldering needed). If your looking to just get a blue color in the tank, then the led strips would work.
  11. Hello from up here! haha.

  13. What are the colors? Do you have the box?
  14. Im sure everyone knows the quality you get from petcos. I think everyone prefers a LFS then petco. Im still debating if ill take them all off.
