    60g cube

i have Zoa envy, and cube tank envy. very nice set up
  2. ok thanks now ive got my own issue to figure out haha
  3. so now would you mind looking at them in the dark and trying to see if the shut completley off or if the ystay on really dim?
  4. i actually just plugged mine in to c if i left it on long enough it would do the same thing and all my leds stayed on very very dimmly so im now confused haha
  5. so how are you turning it off? im not sure how your contolling yours it is also a possibility that the current didnt get turned down far enough when i did mine i had it set to an acceptable current and when i shut it off the lights stayed on they were dim but noticeably on do you have access to a multimeter?
  6. hmm well i noticed when i unplug the drivers for mine they flash once my assumption is it is bleed off from capacitors in the circuit but if that was the case it wouldnt continue to happen so how do you have it set up if you use the dimmer to dim them off it is possible that the capacitors are building up that electricity and once it gets to a point high enough to force the diode on it drains rapidly causing the flash so if thats how your turning them off that might be the case otherwise i have no idea
  7. im not absolutely sure but i believe dimming with the controller either increases or decreases the voltage but not the current again im not positive but i know on mine it specifically said in the driver manual to open it up and reduce the current its worth checking on even at $5 a pop no one likes wasting money
  8. 50% dimmed or did you open your driver and adjust svr2 if not you may need to do that or your blues could burnout in a hurry also you may want to check your whites i had to bump my whites down because these drivers have a max current output of 1.3 Amps and as you mentioned the whtes are rated for a max of 1 Amp food for thought
  9. oh im sorry to be bombarding your thread here but did you bump your current output down for your blue LEDs?
  10. that is true i know Eugene reef has a 90g and he has at least a few drivers powered together and uses the apex control to do the sunrise sunset thing it is awesome your livestock are gonna be living in style
  11. also something i figured out when building mine is if you are short on sockets you can wire multiple drivers to the same power cord unless you intend to have some lights on at different times and dont have a control
  12. looks good you have me questioning my diy that only has 28 LEDs for a 40B hmmmmm
  13. i have 3 2 bulb T5HO fixtures i bought awhile back and never used let me know if you are interested i dont have a tank so i couldnt trade for anything :(
  14. any chance ur gonna b in the eugene area anytime soon if so i may b interested in the skimmer and maybe even the light?
