1. New Asking Price $500 Stop by and check it out first. Then let me know where you need to be price with a reasonable offer. I may be able to help out with delivery if not too far. Thank you for your time.
2. Built this assembly not too long ago. I'm actually looking to rack bigger tanks, so this is to fund my next project. They are all used as freshwater at the moment. Each 2x4 is held by 3" screws which has sections that can be taken apart easily for transport and reconstructed back fairly quickly. The structure is sturdy and attached side by side. Come see for yourself. I"ll provide exact dimensions by request if this generates any kind of interest. The rackers are roughly a little over 8 feet long overall and almost 8' in height. Let me know if there are any questions. Thank you. All listed below for $600 or a trade for 240 - 300 gallon tank if possible Contents: 4x 55 gallon black trim 1x 90 gallon black trim 5x Heater for each tank 5x HOB Filters * Lights for 55g that will need to be assessed, bulbs added, flashers, etc., or even repaired. Haven't had the time to look at them yet. I would say it is safe to say the lights are not in so great condition and a fixer upper. Also, stock all glass or perfecto lid misc. * Minwax Black Oil Stain * Several Extra 10' 2x4's
3. What are the dims of the DIY stand?
4. Searching for a used stand and matching canopy to fit a 72"L x24W" footprint. Black material is preferred, but most will be wood tone for the tandem. Thought I give it a few and try this before beginning the process of building my own. Send me a PM at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
5. For those whom are planning several steps ahead and concerned with straight pin compact fluorescent replacement cost. They're $35 shipped for 4 high quality bulbs of your choice (6700,10,000K, or Actinic). That's a lot of bright light without the bulkiness, especially, for those who have a large tank. I'll show you the supplier and source upon our meeting. Send me an email if you'd like more pics or questions. Since, there are some whose parlaying into freshwater territory. A trade for exotic freshwater fish would be considered : pellet eating Jardini , black arowana , maybe silver aro, giant red tail gourami , or sump with pump. Let me know what you have. Thanks again!
6. Selling is not too important at the moment. But would love to trade for a good conditioned sump for my 155g freshwater. Let me know what you are willing to trade.
7. As we all know. 10000Kwill be bright and a great showcase for your salts. Here is a pic I just took of my community 75 gallon FW tank. Even at this spectrum, contrary to belief, it does aid in the growth of plants. 8 hour photo period just using 2 10000K bulbs and other 2 always off. Just turn on when guests is over.
8. You can also choose to have all four 10000K to this lighting fixture. I might be able to get 2 actinic bulbs to substitute a set of 10000K. Please let me know. Email would be easiest.
9. If interested in taking a look. They are sold at every Petco for $299, or I can meet anywhere near Vancouver or Portland area.
10. SOLD. Please close thread. Thank you Just bought a larger 155'er which I no longer going to be using. These were used to aid my heavily planted fw set ups. For those concerned in bulb replacement cost. I'll show you a source where they are $35 shipped for 4 bulbs, combo of your choice (6700,10000k,or actinic). Asking price is $120. Since, my set ups are fw. I'm not in this forum frequently. Please send questions to vancouver_98683@hotmail.com 4 bulbs X 65W 2 @ 6.700K / 2 @ 10.000K Dimensions: 48" X 7.25 "X 2.5"
11. Bow front Johnny. since you have the same tank. Are bow front measured from each ends or from the center of the tank where it bows out?
12. You can send your reply via email to vancouver_98683@hotmail.com . Thanks
13. 155 bowfront Matt, Is there a complete glass lid inside the canopy? I need this to be converted over to a freshwater for an arowanna. It will try to jump out if nothing is covered securely. Thanks, Sam
