i would get some furan2 and nip this in the bud.i would give you some if you were in the area.i have had some negative effects on certain zoanthid populations with the dips you have proposing and i would definatly let them have a rest period between dips as they are already in a weak state.as you can tell some are much more sensitive than the next.

that sucks about your clam. :( as far as the sun coral goes i had the exact same problem.i ended up making a feeding shield out of the top half of a small plastic water bottle.this way you can put it over the coral the inject the foods in through the drinking cap area.let it feed then remove the bottle.

i have dealt with zoa pox a several times and i have been succesfull with the furan treatments.some zoas respond differnt to the medication as i did experience some zoa loss but not total wich in my opinion is a win.i have posted my succes in another forum but here is where i got most of my information. http://www.zoaid.com/articles004.php

they are both rather pretty corals so if you could set me up with a small frag of each that would be great and thank you for the quik response. your corals look great

are the feelers short and thin looking much like a green field?it is most likely pavona.dont forget if it is it can do some stinging.

should definatly go to a clown fish breeder as its a valuable tool only in that department.
