  1. Clay did my tattoo and I couldn't be happier. Plus he's an awesome guy. Thumbs up to him.
  2. My next house I am totally installing a tap in my kitchen and making kegs.
  3. On a side note, anyone want to buy some used cars or buy into my pyramid scheme?
  4. I've offered a resolution, no need to continue on. The bill is sitting next to my door and Jon is on call to tree sit whenever I get my pm.
  5. Here's the deal, junior. I told You regarding both the light and the regulator That I had not used them and that I had no idea the condition they were in. I bought the regulator from a store that was going out of business and I figured they were trustworthy. Secondly I drove to Corvallis to meet you and when I showed up you handed me$10 less than we had agrees on via pm. Given the drive to and from Corvallis for me equals around $10, I was out $20 by the time I got home. I didn't say anything because I really didn't care. Then I got 5 texts, a phone call, and two pm's before I even got off work and had time to respond. If I threw the same fit you're throwing, then maybe your friends would be offering to pay me? I wasn't gonna make a big deal about this And just let everyone think I was a cheat because pretty much these forums are filled with cheap whiners like you an im pretty much done with it, but now my close friends are getting involved, so I have to take care of it now. Here's the deal: ill split the regulator with you. There's a $20 bill pinned to a tree outside my apartment. Come and get it. But careful, cuz when you get here it'll probably actually be a $10 like you did to me. Pm me for my address or drop it, chief.
  6. Yep! The huge titanic / iceberg slide, the fire truck, and the figure 8 obstacle course were mine.
  7. We used them in my old store and they were quite accurate.
  8. You know the next time I set up a reef tank I am buying one of those lazer thermometers. They aren't that expensive and they are 120% worth every cent. Way more accurate too. Also my mom helped with this batch...When doing my final strain into the primary fermenter, I dropped a grain bag into the funnel...She immediately put her fingers in the funnel and pulled it out O.o My bad for not explaining to her about sanitization and the time from boil to fermenter.
  9. Partial mash...The problem in my OG was the steeping part...I stepped on my thermometer last time I did a batch and forgot about it until last night, so I just guessed a temperature and steeped them at that. I used StarSan this time instead of Iodophor...It is amazing! No smell, 1 minute contact time, no rinse, and as it breaks down it becomes a yeast nutrient. This time I am gonna get an old refrigerator box, and line it with styrofoam, and put frozen water bottles in it to keep it cooler than room temperature. You should have said something earlier, I did a festival in Woodburn last weekend and would have brought you some beer!
  10. Finished the Samuel Smith's...Somehow the OG was 10 points below where it should be, and it tasted slightly diluted...Oh well, we'll see how it tastes in a month.
  11. Doing my Samuel Smith's tonight. Hopefully this batch I will be able to chill while it ferments...Can definitely taste the esters in my last batch. Miles - One of the guys at Valley Vintner used to work at Rogue...If you catch them when they are bored with no customers, their customer service increases by leaps and bounds. Lol
  12. Free shipping on pukani? OMG I wish I still had a tank :[
  13. And to hijack - I am looking for something in the 10-15hp range. :]

    impacted?

Prazi-Pro for freshwater is 1 oz per 120g I believe. You want to use it in a QT tank without a skimmer though because it will create a lot of foam.
  15. The way I see it is as soon as the fish leaves my hands, it is out of my control and up to you to keep it alive, and with the understanding that I wouldn't sell a fish that was sick or stressed to the point where it might die. Aggression, water quality, and transportation practices I have no control over, and I don't feel responsible for anything once it leaves my house. Just my two cents.
  16. I'm so ronrey....So ronrey...
  17. My dad got one about 10 years ago...From the first model to the now new, nice, quiet ones, they have all made a HUGE difference in his life. The only concern is learning to sleep on your back, and making sure they are adjusted properly (My dad isn't using the right one right now and he can still snore through it sometimes). Also if you are a light sleeper, the static white noise from it might annoy you or your bedmate. Now he keeps an extension cord and surge protector in his case for traveling so he can always use it wherever he goes...They really do work.
  18. Marco Rocks is awesome, but you have to be careful - there are a few horror stories about his customer service. Bulk Reef Supply rock is pretty much the same, and roughly the same price. They just got the pukani back in stock which is ridiculously porous, so you are getting more volume for the weight when you buy it, and the pukani looks the best to me.
  19. All I know is watts / volts = amps so you can use that to calculate how many amps you need. Other than that its all greek to me.
  20. Thanks! It'll be here in a week. Heh
  21. I have the crust hot and the toppings cold, it is truly a wonder to eat.
  22. I make my own pizza dough - 2.5 cups of water (warm), put a packet of yeast in it, let it sit for 15 mins. Then add a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of olive oil and 1.5 cups of flour, and mix with a dough hook or knead for 15 mins. Let rise for 1 hour, then strech and bake at 500 degrees for 10-15 mins. For the toppings I marinate cooked chicken in balsalmic vinegar for 1 hour, put sliced tomatoes, olives, feta cheese, and chopped romaine lettuce on top and then drizzle olive oil and balsalmic vinegar over top.
  23. Tonight - My special greek salad pizza on the bbq.
