  4. @MrBret I’m out since I took down my lagoon. Still only 2 polyps .
  5. This little tank has served me well and I am selling it cheaply so that someone with a limited budget can enjoy. 😊You get everything for 200 dollars! With the refugium and light along with all for reef you could pretty much grow anything including acros. Here is a picture when it was up. Price includes all you need to set it up. Tank and stand Refugium and light intank media baskets plus Chemipure filter floss duetto ato and 5 gallon reservoir MP10 Heater and heater controller nanobox duo light (needs new screws to attach ) I can throw in some live rock if you were wanting to get it going right away and some rock rubble for the baskets.
  6. I agree that wasn’t something that was discussed in the last tours so I wonder if Trevor added that monitoring feature. They mentioned they already have big plans next year like setting up some instructional labs !
  7. Great meeting ! @IntoTheMystic thanks for hosting and always making sure we have a gorgeous day !! Trevor’s talk was one of the best and my grandson Manny was fascinated with all you were teaching him about pumps. Here’s a few pictures!! Beautiful cold water system looks like an Envisions tank. The grandkids enjoyed the touch pools and this topographic exhibit was fun!! We had a brief tour of the lab This is Trevor speaking about aquatic life support!! I was too mesmerized by the pictures of the lab they have with giant pumps plumbing skimmers and filtration. I thought my 6 year old grandson would be bored but he was glued to the screen looking at all the pumps. This is Sid going through the book with my grandson. It is updated regularly and is only 50 dollars. Highly recommend this book to all the people who love the mechanical aspects of the hobby and are interested in aquarium design .This is what people study to get certification.Trevor just passed the Level 3 exam and there are only a handful of people that too so it’s a big deal !! The food was amazing too thanks to @Sirenabut I forgot to get pictures! All in all a great time !!!
  8. @IntoTheMystic Sirena and I plan to get there a little early and park in the back so we can unload the food and grill and water . @Brittanyin times past we met at over by the tide pools where the anemones are but it’s been a while. Is that where we should meet?
  9. That’s nice of you to offer ! We are staying for the weekend in the Newport area ! See you tomorrow !
  10. We will have burgers hot dogs and water to drink ! Bring whatever else you would like to share !!
  11. Thanks Chief for keeping track of the elections since this club came into existence!!🙏 @Eatfrenchfries welcome to the board ! @islandVib3s @obrien.david.j @reefrun welcome back ! Looking forward to a new year !!
  12. They don’t move around as much as bubble tips but they can still move and they are found in the wild hidden under rocks so it’s normal. I had one I didn’t even know about sitting in a bucket of what I thought was just live rock and it lived as it was hidden.
  13. Yeah that’s Jeremy. There are several active members in that area @TheClark @stylaster and @Gumby still drop in from time to time .😊
  14. Great find ! You started on this site about the same time I did . Did you have a different profile name ?
  15. Welcome ! Softy corals are the hardiest. I recommend sinularia , green star polyps but keep it on a separate rock away from other rocks or it will overgrow your tank, zoas like reefrun mentioned like radioactive dragon eyes , mushrooms are also pretty easy 😀
  16. Thanks for the details ! Sirena has it covered she has a portable Blackstone and and a portable Traegar either one will work ! We are going to have burgers and hot dogs and water and any sides you want to bring !!😊
  17. Couldn’t take a picture for May here is my June submission still at 2 polyps @MrBret
  18. Anyone want to go in on me with a pack ? I think I would only need two for my 25 lagoon. Put me down for 5 Dave .
  19. Thanks it is June 24. I am posting with poor reception.
