Upscales stocks it as well.

The only mechanical filtration is socks and a skimmer, no chemical filtration beyond a little carbon in a bag every couple weeks.

I've never owned a purple tang that didn't end up being a complete [language filter]. One of my favorite fish but no more for me, I'm done with them.
I actually had one kill a sohal that was substantially bigger than the purple...

Makes sense why it looks like a PCI reactor lol.
For anyone interested these are good quality reactors just make sure you don't over tighten the pump fittings, they're fragile and are notorious for breaking.

Looks like an old PCI reactor... Did you pick this up from Chad?

That GH aqua delight looks amazing Brad! Need to get a piece of that back.....
Have beer, will travel
DUDE! Where have you been hiding??? Long time no see!

Man I sure do miss my pair of Regals, what an absolutely beautiful fish!
The Red Sea fish definitely survive better than their Indo counter parts. Every Indo one I've had seemed to be more destructive than the Red Sea variety as well...
Hopefully this one stick around for a while!

The solenoid more than likely is bad. Leave it powered by the apex and manually plug and unplug it. If you can't hear it clicking then it's definitely toast.
Not an uncommon problem.

Love that UF Tri Color

I get algae blooms when I use the acro power. I'm going to try the ME Corals version next as I hear great things about it.
Did you get the really light colored almost transparent hairy looking stuff? I used to the that from Acropower, it's a weird algae.
I did find that if I dosed it at night when the lights were off I didn't get that weird algae from it.
I've been using the Red Sea Amino's and I've had good luck the last two years or so... I wouldn't mind checking out the ME stuff.

lol... Last frag that was over an inch sold for like $800
It's my Understanding that only a very small handful of people even have the true piece from Tyree and last I heard Tyree still hadn't gotten a piece of his own since he lost his personal colony some time ago.
Good luck!

Plenty... A few nice sized colonies. I've got a pretty busy weekend but I'll try to get some more pictures of what's left when I can.

LOTS of corals sold and quite bit more to go... I'll get some more pictures of what else is available over the weekend!

I have a 40 breeder that was used as the sump on my prop system, I've removed the baffles and used it as a holding tank for a while so it'll need new baffles. It's got the back and one side painted black.
It has 3 holes drilled in it for an external pump and some accessories, the bulkheads are currently still installed and don't leak, they currently have plugs installed.
$20 if you want it.

[language filter], king of the pink. You need to rehome a big chunk of it as it seems outgrow in your tank :-)???
The whole right side of that branch has been re-homed to the east coast. I can always pop you off a piece if you need.

Thank you, if you scroll through the previous pages you'll see my maintenance schedule is pretty simple. No water changes, I feed hikari marine plankton to the fish daily, and once per week I feed the corals 7ml of Aquavitro Fuel, 10ml each of Red Sea Reef energy A&B and 10ml of Oyster Feast just mixed together in a cup and dumped in front of one of the pumps.
Other than that, I clean the skimmer and keep the calcium reactor topped off. All nutrients and waste removal is done through the filter socks and the skimmer, no chemicals are used although I do use a little bit of Brightwell carbon a couple days month just to keep the water looking clear.
