  1. is the tank still available? and is it $390 just for the tank or is that with stand and canopy?
  2. well i think Eheim filters are your best bet for planted tanks, (thats what I'm taking it off of, converting the tank into salt) i had it on a 20 gallon, i know I'm trying to sell it but it would be to small for a 55 gallon (i have another Eheim 2213 on my 50 plant tank but also have an Aquaclear 70 as well), i think they are great fillters but like i said it would be to small to use alone on a 55 gallon with discus, two would work great but best would be a 2215 or 2217
  3. How should I light my 20long (30"x12"x12"), I would like to be able to keep most any coral anywhere in the tank hears what I’ve been thinking... 1. Four 24watt HO-T5 lamps Pros- lots of light, lasts a long time, uses little electricity, less heat, lots of options for lamps Cons- don’t know the light spread over 30inchs, no “shimmer” effect 2. One 150watt metal halide lamp Pros- lots of light, “Shimmer” effect, lots of options for lamps Cons- don’t know the light spread over 30inchs, lots of heat, most electricity 3. Two 70watt metal halide lamps Pros- lots of light, good light spread, “shimmer” effect, Cons- heat, most expensive annual lamp replacement, not many lamps too choose form well those are my three options, and I cant decide witch to go with, what option would you all out there go with? the tank will be open top without a canopy, the light(s) fixtures will be hanging Above the tank I was thinking for option 1. a SLS Tek Light, option 2. An AquaMedic pendent, option 3. Two JBJ clamp on Viper lights
  4. Anyone here ever buy any furniture from wicks furniture? I'm thinking about buying a living room set from them but I would like too here what others think of them before dropping a few grand there. What is there quality like? and customer service like? So if anyone owns furniture from them what do you think about it?
  5. are you willing to part it out, if so how much do you want for the Geo 618? and what kind of RO/DI unit do you have?
  6. I'm bumping this back to page one
  7. i have a used Eheim 2213 canister filter that i would like to sell or trade. $50 OBO I still have the box and instruction manual and all parts, its in great working order (they are built like tanks and last forever, i have another one on my planted freshwater tank that i have had for ten years! and still works like a champ) i also have a Amiracle SL-5 Hang On wet/dry filter and skimmer, never used but the pumps have been used to mix salt $100 OBO or will trade for Tunze nanostream 6025 or a refractometer ect... http://www.seatrademarine.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=ASL5HO&Category_Code=FWD note: links pic show a lager SL-15 if interested please feel free to PM me -matt p.s. i would be willing to meet some where, i live in Vancouver
  8. how soon is very soon. and what kinds of products will you keep in stock? any nano streams 6025 or nano reefpack 200?
  9. thats a bit two large for my 20 gallon tank, but what kinda deal are we talking? and do you carry tunze stuff or is that the only thing you have?
  10. do any Portland area LFS sell Tunze Nano streams? or dose anyone have an extra Nano strem 6025 that they want to sell?
  11. they have some nice stuff for those younger people like me who don't have a lot of money(it all goes to the tanks!) but i like having things that will last a long time, plus i like building my own stuff, sure if i build it, it looks like crap but i least i tried, right? as far as those who wait in line for it... I'm lost for words, its not like you cant look at there stuff online...
  12. don't do it, i sealed up my 20long plant tank as best as i could and it still got in, that tank is now empty...
