Selling a 30" Current USA Orbit fixture. It has one 65w dual daylight, one 65w dual actinic, and two white LED lunar lights. Fixture comes with separate power cords and switches for all lights, and mounting legs. I used it for 4 months until I upgraded to MH. The light is located in Corvallis, but I go to Portland often. $125

Is there a good way to get rid of cyano (if that's what it's called)? Purple slimy stuff is spreading around my tank. It's on the rocks and the sand right now and I'm getting worried. I'm not sure what it's due to, but I get RO/DI water from a thing at the grocery store.

Is there any problem with mixing different types of shrimp in a tank? I have a pair of skunk cleaners right now and was thinking it would sweet if I could find a watchman goby/pistol shrimp pair. Would there be a problem putting the pistol shrimp in with the cleaners? It would be a 29g tank for reference. Also, would 1in of sand be enough for them to dig a cave provided they did get along with the other thinks in the tank?

Yes, it's LR out of established tanks.

I recently set up my tank and have let it cycle pretty well. It's a 29g with only about 15lbs of LR. Since then I've bought a bunch more LR to stick in there, do I have to worry about spikes in ammonia or whatever from the new rock or should the tank be good to go? I'm sure the answer is just to test the water...
