  1. Safety is everything with kids. Mine started shooting at 4 to 6 and I would have it no other way. They need to learn to respect guns and understand how dangerous they can be, even if you don't like guns and don't want one in your home. Someday that child will go to some gun owners house when they are not home and a child will pull out a gun to show your kid.... you fill in the blanks. Educate and lock them up.
  2. I did 2 moves with my 155 bow. Used pumps with screens on the intake, with heaters plugged into an inverter. Keep as much sand as you can and if you have lots of live rock you will be fine, either one, you should not get a cycle. If you have a shallow SB or no SB then your going to need quite a bit of live rock so make sure you don't get and cycle, I had about 200lbs LR and no sand with no issues.
  3. I can't wait.... its like Christmas when you where a kid..... LOL Will the gift be good or bad? Hmmmmmm Either way I'm washing it down with beer.
  4. Good to hear, seems to be really active last few days.
  5. How wide is this tank, any scratches on the inside of the bow? Where is this tank located?
  6. Absolutely, give me a ring.
  7. I'm glad your getting good use out of it! Sorry I did not get a chance to met ya! Next time for sure.
  8. This would be pretty oversized for a bedroom, I used it for living space and worked very well.
  9. When I ran it it only needed to be ran a few hours or so every other day. I did let it run overnight a few times but it did not effect the electric bill. I think it has a 1/3 hp compressor so if you ran all the time (and you won't) I can't imagine it costing more than $10 a month. Basically if my windows where wet inside from dew I would run it to bring the humidity to 60% (you can set to whatever you want) but if you just let it run it will dry the room out if you set to say 90%.

    ps3 or xbox

PS3, free online and blueray player easily sold me. Plus wireless streaming from your pc, always fun.
  11. Kenmore 70 pint, used it when I had my larger tank and did a spectacular job sucking water out of the air. Let me know if your interested. Tired of wheeling it around my garage.
  12. Never caught a fish via middle of the night method but have tried many times. Before I invested in a fish trap the best way was just go in after them when they think your going to feed, feed sparingly so they come to the food. After I got a fish trap it was easy, put fish food in trap, the fish you don't want to catch always goes in within 30 seconds of trap going in, and finally 3 days or 3 weeks later the fish you want gets hungry enough he will go in to eat and you got'em.
  13. Sounds good, it needs to be setup in an account that won't be abused, probably something our treasurer should handle. Or better yet as funny as it sounds if you sell a coral and get money make the direct donation yourself. We could setup a contact and info page as another option for easy donation so that there is not a third party involved. It also reduce paypal fees to the receiver of the funds and reduce risk of theft or other issues that could possibly occur.
  14. My coris wrasse was not interested but my malinarius wrasse would attack anything that moved. Never know but they are hunters by nature.
  15. Always had good dealings with Nick, just wish I was closer.
  16. Looks good, just feather dusters. Wrasses will pick at them but they will typically learn to pull in when the wrasses come out.
  17. I am planning hang gliding early next year. Still trying to convince my wife to sign up for the class.
  18. I have tried it, but never noticed anything different, the corals do eat it, its most effective direct feeding and not just dosing the tank. I stopped using it as I did not see any difference in corals or speed of growth after using for a year.
  19. Used to run it into my washer, but new washer works different. If I still had ro now I would run to a 50 gal drum and water my garden in the summer.
  20. Ha ha ha ha, first I thought you built your tank with a built in fish trap. I was like [language filter] this dude is on top of stuff!
