Keeping this thread alive Prices are going up on CO2 as well. You'll see from my last post a 5# exchange in Oregon City in June was $20. Just paid $33 at the same place. Curious what others are seeing.

I've heard others say the same, but some of the best - longest living fish I've had came from Petco in Tualatin! If I were to really look, I'd say as many from Petco have survived as from LFS's. Just my 2 cents.

That's quite a sock fetish.

I'm making a CO2 detector and trying to source a case for the two parts I'm using - a ESP32 and MH-Z19B. Looks like there is a site with existing 3D plans. Anyone do this kind of thing? https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4870165

PM'd on salt, AB+ and CO2.

Not sure about the 350, but the down pipe bulkheads on the 450 extend below the tank bottom. If the same, you may want to transport on it's side.

Hope everyone is surviving the heat event of 2022. We are fortunate to have AC and the tank temp is around 81. Here's a current picture under 80/20 and full spectrum.

I think there is someone online who does these repairs as a mail-in.

Posting our failures is vital to learning. Just when I think I have it figured out something happens. I'll occasionally have a coral STN while others are fine. Of course it's usually one that I like most. It may, or not, have had anything to do with silicate dosage. I know there is some science regarding the relationship between such and diatoms, but personally in my take the goal is zero. I manage undesirable algae in other ways. Sorry for the loss, if had that coral I would gladly share the genome.
