  4. If you haven't already checked it out, go to BRS videos. They have some good tips on scrubbers. For the check out Jorgensen Labs soda lime. I believe they are quite a bit cheaper.

  5. I have a bunch of Zoa frags in my frag tank that i need to sell to make room. I put together some packages (see below) Price is for entire group and Polyp count is at least that number or more. I have a bunch of frags so getting pictures of exact frags is hard, but will post reference pics and can get more if you need. Located in McMinnville but can possibly meet somewhere.

  6. Ok, it's very simple. Here's how this works, you have two options: One is create a build thread for your reef system. If you're not familiar with these, it's basically a personal thread that details the ongoing progress of your system. It would start with details about tank, equipment used, livestock kept, etc. From there, it's up to you how often you post updates. Build threads are great ways to stay engaged with another, troubleshoot issues, and (most importantly [emoji6]) show stuff off. Second option is to post a MEANINGFUL update to your ongoing build thread. Most members already hav

  8. So I realized that the club originally budgeted for 3 $25 gift certificates to a LFS of one's choice for our raffles. However, somewhere along the lines, those prizes fell off the radar. So we've decided to do a second chance raffle drawing! I combined all the tickets from yesterday's raffle into one big bag and pulled three tickets out. The winners... 9. Glad I'm not the only one. If my corals crashed as often as my chaeto does, I think I'd have left the hobby long ago. It goes through boom/bust cycles in most of my tanks, and I cant figure it out. I've tried dosing iron etc, nothing helps. I always just grab some from one of my other tanks and transfer it over to restart the chaeto. So far this has worked but if all my chaeto ever crashes at once I'm gonna be screwwwed.

  11. Thanks man. That would assume of course that I have an apex [emoji2957]. I don't even have a pH monitor or controller, not even on the CaRx. Maybe someday I'll leap into modernity.... Someday. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

  17. Congratulations y'all. Please let me know which LFS you'd like your certificate to go to. Fyi, they must be a forum sponsor.

  20. You gotta close that loop, son, tighten up your game... [sorry, I've been watching that Hulu Wu-Tang series] I think he meant out of the skimmer cup, though.

  21. These are solid controllers for the price. If concerned about the metal probe you can cover with silicone. https://slickdeals.net/f/14345039-inkbird-itc-308-digital-temperature-controller-24-49?src=frontpage&v=1

  22. Yeah, I think I got all the majano's out of the DT, I found a few stragglers in the sump with some LR I got in there which were either removed or encased in carbonite(super glue) .. the peppermint has done a great job with any aptasia in the DT and things are going pretty dang well so far, I guess I paid the price for getting someone's 'leftover' live rock haha but it was established and probably saved me a good 6 months of waiting and I also got a few nicer hitch-hikers like a few cool mushrooms and I guess the kenya tree

  23. Another option: I just pull the metal probe off with pliers, its rubber underneath! GLWS

  25. Added a new piece from CNC, @CuttleFishandCoral. I didn't really plan on buying anything at the time (and certainly not an LPS), but here we are. There are some super solid items at the shop right now, as per usual. A wish the photo paid justice to the size of this Elegance Coral. It's massive! It's probably 9x7 inches when opened up. 26. I decided to take the opportunity to actually utilize my phone's water resistant capabilities and took some underwater shots. Cell phone technology has certainly come a long way.... It's crazy. You can't really use the screen underwater, but you can still operate the physical buttons. So pictures are a breeze. I tried taking pictures with different color settings with the lights. Anyway, here's some shots. Still learning the color correction and not making them look unrealistic. They're pretty accurate. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

  27. Took some random top-down photos. They are just some Samsung phone photos with color temperature correction. Coral coloration has really been improving lately as everything gets situated and the lights get dialed in. How does the song go?
