well, it's finally officially for sale! https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1802-NW-124th-St-Vancouver-WA-98685/23295120_zpid/ We'd been in this house for 20 years so moving was a bit of an experience- especially the part where I moved a 300gal and 120gal DT while trying to keep everything alive! Thanks Jeremy(TheClark) for your help! I couldn't have do it without you! and thanks Holly (Gil&Fin) for babysitting coral! I'm very, very glad I chose to do that!

Not sure if anyone noticed this or not but there was an announcement today regarding a new building planned for the Marine Studies Initiative center at the Hatfield location in Newport. Sounds like pretty exciting stuff so will be curious to hear more about the plans. http://www.oregonlive.com/education/index.ssf/2017/11/oregon_state_gives_first_glimp.html#incart_river_home

Hey guys! As some of you may know, I moved here from Utah fairly recently. I work on cars for a living, and I wanted to offer that to you guys here. I can send you my resume with references as well if you'd like. I have my own shop and can work out of that, or come to you if need be. I offer super competitive rates, and no job is too big for me. I offer quick turnaround rates, no additional charge if the job takes longer than the book quotes, and typically I'm able to charge less than the initial quote. Shoot me a pm with any questions, or if you'd like me to get some work done for you. Thanks😊

That was intense @ssappington and a great experience. So glad you are able to get that house on the market and focus on settling into the new place. It was a pleasure spending the day doing reef stuff with a reef friend. All the best - Jeremy

Time for another raffle item!! We have a 50 dollar gift certificate to The Premium Aquarium in Salem! This is the best shop in Salem and Garrett and his crew are always fun to hang out with!! This place is definitely worth the stop if you are in the Salem area!

Very Sad to hear. Woody was the first reefer I met when I moved to PDX. Back before we had a forum and an official club, Woody's place was where we'd all hang out. PNWMAS wouldn't have come to be without his help IMO. Great guy.

Haha - yes, I do have a basement but you've seen it! Wouldn't want to try and wrestle a 180 glass tank down there anyway. I can barely afford to keep my 120 going so no way I'm adding a 180... I just really like the dimensions on these and am jealous of Andrews tank I'm sure someone will give it a good home. GLWS!

You are just going to hold this for me until I find a place to put it right? J/k - I would have to add a wing to the house or something since I don't even have a garage.

Hope it sells quick! Looks like it when comparing to the local market.

hi ryan! i also have the marineland 150DD and i absolutely love it. although, now i secretly wish i would have gone with the 300DD! I like your open rockwork too. like you, im a fan of a few big rocks to set up the structure, and leave lots of empty space. here is my tank when i set it up last year (using rocks i bought at waves back in like...2007!) and here it is this year....way too filled with SPS

i wouldnt add anymore but that is just me. The fastest way to make a big tank look smaller is to put a ton of rock in it. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

My man actually just ordered the stuff to do it for some trucks he is restoring, but the tank comes first! =) Happy wife, happy life. Right? lol
