Thanks to Brian67, I am now the proud owner of this beauty. It's a 120 gallon starphire glass on a custom stand. Time to get this party started! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've used unions from depot in every build and I've never once has an issue with them. Valves as well, I've never once paid for "aquarium use" valves or unions. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk

Both are 29 gallons but one is freshwater and one is saltwater. Any questions don't hesitate to ask!

To each there own. Some people like Salisbury steak more than rib eye. I don't get it either. All fittings on my tank, manifold, and mixing station are true union. I wouldn't have it any other way.

My rookie mistake was relying on technology to much. Now my moto is More biology less technology. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for the feedback! I'm stoked to get the corals mounted and see how things start growing in. Touche on the control management, this is my makeshift vertex sump!

Just toss it on the roof with a bungee chord and hold on to it with one hand while you drive I have seen worse going down the road......

Well it is solved....my brothers stupid giant hermit crab that lives in a turbo shell crawled down there and was stuck. Had to take lights and hood down, then use coat hanger to hook the shell and long tweezers to grab once I got it high enough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk He now lives in the sump.

There are lots of this style of low internal tank profile with external boxes. That's the route I'd go if I redid mine: https://www.ebay.com/itm/201291912999

I bought a tank. Biggest rookie mistake you can make and I did it right out of the gate.
