Gotta give a major shout out to Blackice aka Chris. Traded some corals today, and I gotta admit I was hooked up! He even refused to take any money from me. Stand up guy! Thanks so much Chris.

I have found that Sailfin Mollies (Poecilia latipinna) are far better algae eaters than the common sphenops variety. They love hair algae. I have seen them grow over 5" in length in the Gulf estuaries and roadside ditches down in Texas. When the males are ready to spawn, the colors are absolutely beautiful in the wild silver variety, in my opinion. Give them a try. Sailfins are not as common, but LFS like World of Wet Pets in Beaverton can order them for you if they are not in stock. I have read P. velifera are a larger species, growing to 6 or 7". P. velifera has 18-19 dorsal fin rays, while P. latipinna has only 14. Sailfin Molly (Poecilia latipinna) Giant Sailfin Molly (Poecilia velifera )

A lucky one will pick it up from Chris. Let's start the love game and the lucky one will be notified by this Sun 3/15 to work with Chris on the pick up arrangement ( Thanks Chris for holding it for another week).

Both nems were carefully plucked out by GilandFin today, nice to meet you, it helps to have nails. Minimal damage done to surrounding coral colonies.

In my opinion you should buy fish you can keep for their life span but I know others don't agree, it's all personal choice. I used to have a kole tang in my 40 breeder and I saw the aggression he displayed from being in a smaller tank. Mandarins can be put in less aged systems if you can find one that is eating prepared foods.
