csrdph
Hi everyone. I'm trying to find a large water reserve to hold my top off water. Ideally looking for one of those large blue 55 or so gallon containers that are made of heavy plastic. Does anyone know where to purchase one? Thanks! nu2reef-n
Any food processing plant would carry them. Try Reser's out in Beaverton. There is also a place down on Columbia blvd. (west of 47th ave. north side of road) that used to have them. Don't know the name of the company. :(
H20cooled
I use the Rubbermaid Heavy duty garbage can from Home Depot, look for the food grade ones.
Lowman
I use the Rubbermaid Heavy duty garbage can from Home Depot' date=' look for the food grade ones.[/quote'] These are what I thought you were referring to. I wouldn't trust any container that has housed anything other than my water, just my preference
csrdph
Thanks for all the responses. I checked Depot but couldn't find quite what I was looking for. Just garbage cans. I'll check out the other places mentioned too. Thanks for all the help!
Nyles
I use the Rubbermaid Heavy duty garbage can from Home Depot' date=' look for the food grade ones.[/quote'] This is what I got to, I have 2-44 gallon commercial rubbermaids (I use one and another just in case I move I will have lots of storage), with casters so I can wheel it around. they are a breeze to move completly full. WAVES
I bought my new 280gal tank here at the shop at www.plastic-mart.com Tons of choices. I hear typical pricing for new tanks is about $1 a gallon.
blown65
I just use the 44gallon cans also with no issues yet. I do though have a 300 gallon vertical storage tank with RO water that doubles as spot free car wash water.

izzypop
TRAILER CITY BY Woody's Shop They have the blue 55 gal containers for $10. They are used once with Soy Sauce but just Bleach rinse and good to go for $10. Someone told me this a year ago and been a great resource that is why I have it saved on my PC. Trailer City 1525 Columbia Blvd about two blocks before you turn to Woodys
