impur
We did it last year and it seems some others are interested in getting these again. http://www.idjnow.com/StoreModules/ProductDetails.aspx/PID=E107 Figure something like $20 each to offset paypal costs and try to get enough units to avoid shipping. If we can't get enough interest we won't do the group buy. Any left over funds will be directed to the club. Lets try to get a count of how many ppl would be interested and how many everyone wants. siskiou
Can I ask a quick question about these? Are they "plug and play" or do you need to wire anything with these? I thought they were just like a powerstrip with switched outlets, but can't tell by looking at the info. Where are the actual outlets located on these and how far apart are they (need to know for timers and such)?
impur
Yah, you've seen mine! Basically its a powerstrip, you have a pigtail on the end of the unit that plugs into the wall. Directly behind those swiches on the back of the unit are the plugs.
nu2reef-n
They are plug and play. It doesn't get any easier than these units. They make a real nice and sanitary install. IMO
siskiou
Thanks for the info! Is anyone else not getting email info for threads they've posted in anymore? I used to, but not lately.
Chief
I've got 2 of these and they are great units. Just don't overload them ( 15 amps ), they can get quite hot when you overload them. But then again I am running about 24 plugs in my garage to run my tank. It is all about balance. (scary) Jay

WAVES
where are these coming from? Are there ones that do just have pigtails in back rather than outlets? I saw some folks on RC that wired these into normal outlets (so there is room for X10 boxes). Also, do they have surge protection? That would prevent X10 data from transfering. I may be interested in a few

impur
They'll come from here http://www.idjnow.com/StoreModules/ProductDetails.aspx/PID=E107 They have recepticles in the unit behind each switch. The pigtail is the power cord for the unit. They have a breaker built in to them.

WAVES
Ill take 5, Im happy to help deal with the funds regarding this group buy, if folks are willing to pay $20 instead of $19 to cover my fees, I can take credit cards over the phone then provide cash for the purchase. Not sure if that will help or not, but Im happy to do it. **EDIT I changed my order to 5 to make it an even $100**
