Recommended Posts

Hello everyone I am a new guy here at PNWMAS. I am active duty and stationed in GA but from OR. I am a member of Reefs.org and the ASMAS (Atlanta South-Eastern Marine Aquarium Society). I currenlty only have a 46 Gallon BF because of the room available in Military housing and the number of moves we have to do. When I retire in a about 5 years it will be to the wilsonville/ Beaverton area. Here are the basic specs.

46 gallon Bow front

10 gallon sump

2x 250w MH 14K phoenix

cpr bak pak 2

1/3 HP chiller (bit of overkill I know but planning for future)

knop c calcium reactor

I have 2 clowns hosted in a RBTA

1 flame angel

1 yellow tang

I have 56 different corals of 39 different species.

mostly sps but some lps as well.

Welcome Ranger!

Glad to see you found this site from way back east. Tank looks good kinda suprised you can keep it up being in the "rangers", wouldn't think you had the time.

Hope you look us up when you come home.

And "THANK YOU" for being in the armed forces.

The first time I read that I was thinking "What is a 46 gallon boy friend?" rofl

Now that you've found us, don't be a stranger!

Thank you for the very warm welcome. I appreciate the compliments. I am currently able to keep up with the tank because I am now a Ranger Instructor so I have some free time as opposed to still being at Regiment. Thanks for all the support. I look forward to meeting some of you in the future. Do you have monthly meetings or anything like that?

Oh and I feed my tubastrea dailey a mixer that I concoct at home of mixed seafood. It was almost dead when I got it and nursed it back to health. Now it has baby polyps starting on it and is spreading. It is a very cool coral.
