Chief Posted June 14, 2006 Share Posted June 14, 2006 A co-worker of mine gave me a math problem. 3 guys go in $10.00 a piece on a motel room------------$30.00 The room was pretty trashed so the manager decided to refund $5.00 to the group.---------------------$ 5.00 -------------------------------------------------------------$25.00 The manager asked the bellboy to return the $5.00 to the group. On the way the bellboy decides to pocket $2.00 and give each guy a $1.00 return. Now each guy has paid $9.00 for the room---------------$27.00 The bellboy took $2.00 for him self------------------------$2.00 -------------------------------------------------------------$29.00 Where did the other $1.00 go?
