Looking for some lights

Looking at getting some new lights because the half the blue channel on my lights has went out again and I’m tired of repairing them. They are about 8 yrs old or older.

i have a mixed reef 180 gallon display, am looking at the Red Sea 90 and actinic T247, but am worried about the depth of the tank for both As my light mounting is ~12” above the water. Anyone have experience with these? Any other suggestions? I’m not trying to break the bank so I’m ruling out radions G5’s and Hydra 64s (although I really like both).

my current set up is 3x reefcorner 180p’s

If you haven't checked out SB Reef lights I really like mine, I have a 32" SB Reef Pro with timer and I believe it ran me around ~$300, they have other sizes as well, basic (without timer or Wifi) Pro (with timer) Extreme (with WiFi and timer)10, 18", 22", 32" and they have retrofit kits as well. Plus they come with a two year warranty, they're affordable and the colors look amazing in my opinion. I'm already planning on getting another for my daughter's tank417c3409fc8c5631f0d22bec283e2598.jpg45bf0d78ee88081bd2a986d33f38ee3c.jpg9d231efda1274659b8571634ee689afa.jpgfb7d4af4b0beb3e22db84028729931b8.jpg06240454e94c362fd58969805e0a8fcc.jpgfcb2fd26b2c53786736f3d36c1402b47.jpg2c87b6881c6012dea49e3c8f4ec8e8d3.jpg

I ran those same lights on my 125 gallon tank for several years (the 32 pro timers) with good results so definitely worth a look.  It's a bit of a mom and pop operation which has it's plusses and minuses but you will typically get a response from the owner himself if you need tech help.  They also can provide replacement parts and repair instructions if you run into issues.

leaves room for adding some t5s!

I tried to do that with my light stand I made but I couldn’t find any T5 2 bulb fixtures that were the length of the tank, I was gonna add 2 bulbs in the front and 2 in the back but ya.

EDIT: sorry these are 2ft. They have 3ft and 4ft for your needs though!

old picture and tank but you can see I had them mounted in between my leds. only pic I could find unfortunately...

Best bet for your $ as they have built in ballast, are linkable, and have nice reflectors and your lights are bright! I just hooked up to a simple timer.

Would you recommend going the full length of the tank (6’) or do you think doing just 4’ centered would be ok?

I think 4' would be okay as that is the main center of your tank where your brightest stuff can be. Your lower light corals who dont need T5s as much as sticks perhaps will be totally fine on the outskirts. It will give a nice depth of color and lighting in your tank too to have the center bright and bleed over the rest.
