Shimmer
I'm so happy to have found this group. I recently broke up with Facebook, and my only regret is losing my fish tank groups in the divorce. I currently have a 55 and 20 fresh water tropical and hope to one day dabble in the land of salt water. With my current tanks, I have often chosen the safe bet (easy plants, easy fish), but I'm ready to try some new and more challenging aspects of the hobby. I look forward to learning from you all. Cheers! Edited June 6, 2020 by Shimmer punctuation correction
Emerald525
Welcome and congratulations on your FB breakup! With all that extra free time and happiness you should be able to create an amazing tank!
TaylorW
Welcome! I also started out with freshwater (since age 8 actually) then decided to turn one of freshwater tanks into saltwater and have never looked back! Best advice, do your research on fish, I can't tell you how many impluse buys I did with fish in the beginning and later came to regret (Damsels, Dottybacks come to mind) I look forward to seeing what you decide to start with!
