SuncrestReef
This morning the sun was shining into my tank for about 5 minutes, and it allowed me to capture this macro photo in natural light. I'm not sure if this is a sponge or a tunicate, but its structure is very cool! All of those tiny hairs have captured a lot of detritus. The actual size of this specimen is about 1/4" diameter. SuncrestReef
Nevermind. I realize this is just another pineapple sponge. I hadn't seen one from this angle before, so that opening made me think of a tunicate.
