Now I have a completely new set up, with much different equipment except for the Apex Gold. I also have a somewhat better understanding of programming.Since I also need to update my firmware, what is the easiest way to erase and start over again? Or is there a better way to approach this? An extra headache popped up when I tried to update my very old firmware. After following their instructions, I got blocked because the EXE file will not run. SuncrestReef Posted January 24, 2020 Share Posted January 24, 2020 Do you have a display module with your Apex? If so, I'd recommend using the display to reset it to factory defaults (under System...Init Memory...Init All). Once it's back to defaults, then walk through the standard instructions for setting up a new Apex. This might also solve the firmware update problem.
