November Picture of the Month - Coral | Before and After

Here are the rules:

• One photo entry per person
• Pic has to be taken by you
• Must be in by the posted deadline
• Must follow subject guidelines for the month
 
Winners will be determined based upon a voting poll with results after the submission deadline.   
 
This months subject:

Coral - Before and After. i.e. a photo of the coral when it was small and a frag, then one when it became a colony - Any coral

Deadline:

December 1st, 11:59 pm

These are not the best photos I've ever taken, but after reviewing all of my shots, this definitely shows the most dramatic growth of any coral in my tank.  This stag has just gone wild, growing from about 1" to over 9" in one year.

Looking back over my photos, I really wish I would have taken daily photos to put together a time-lapse video.  It would be so cool to see the growth in action like this:
